Quester

Quester is highly customizable plugin handling all kinds of quests. From simple "gather to get reward" quests, to complicated forked story-telling quests. What is even better, everything is customizable on-the-fly directly in game ! No more restarting/reloading your server every time to change something. Localizable messages, plenty of different, highly-customizable objectives, conditions, events and flags. NPC and sign support. All this together creates almost unlimited possibilities.

Group manager does not accept star (*) as a valid replacement for any path. You can't use star but have to write all permission separately.

Saying that some plugin is the best is very subjective. There are many plugins to choose from and each of them has something that makes people choose it. I prefer PermissionsEx and I also use it while testing quester.

Posted Oct 19, 2012Hello! Quester is a good plugin, but... I need some help with it. I try and give quester.use.* to my players, but they still can't use the plugin. Help would be good :). I also use Group Manager, and have added the perm to my Default.
PS: Love the plugin :)

Posted Oct 13, 2012Latest dev build contains Action objective, which is interaction with a block, it does not have to be sign and you can choose whether it should be left or right click (or any). See commits on github for more info about the objective.

Sign must contain quest you want to complete. There is no need for an event, it just runs /q done whenever you right click and have enough resources with you to complete all objectives, or have all objectives completed. If it does not work that way, it is bug.

It already works that way, Signs work exactly like NPCs, only difference is that they are signs and not NPCs. What you right-click quester sign, which holds quest you want to complete, it will try to complete it.

You should add an option to complete a quest with signs... for those who don't want to use Citizens... ;3 So you basically right click a sign with the quest name and [Quester] on the first line... and on right click, you completed that quest.
Example:
[Quester]
Right click to
Complete:
<quest-name>**
Or something similar
