Quester

Quester is highly customizable plugin handling all kinds of quests. From simple "gather to get reward" quests, to complicated forked story-telling quests. What is even better, everything is customizable on-the-fly directly in game ! No more restarting/reloading your server every time to change something. Localizable messages, plenty of different, highly-customizable objectives, conditions, events and flags. NPC and sign support. All this together creates almost unlimited possibilities.
Found a bug? Have a suggestion? Sumbit a ticket.
Don't forget to specify Quester version you are using and label the ticket appropriately. Tickets without label will take longer to review or be ignored completely.
Latest DEV version should be working with recent minecraft versions. See dev builds.

Posted Nov 24, 2013hello for some reason my quests from the quests.yml keeps disappearing after someone logs into the game this happened after i edited it luckily to made a backup but it keeps happening any fix to this?
also i tried stopping the server first but doesn't do the trick

Because there is no such permission.
quester.use.start.pick - allows /q start [name]
quester.use.start.random - allows /q start

In 0.7 it's "/q reload -q". In older versions it's not possible.
Proper way to modify quests in game is command line. If you want to make changes in file, you need to shut server down, apply changes and start it again.

Yea, location trigger won't give you more than one quest. It's a bug and it wil be fixed in 0.7. Thanks for the report.

Are you talking about npc/sign interaction ? In that case just shiftclick quest giver to obtain another quest if oyu already have one.

Posted Nov 20, 2013Hey there. We've been setting up Quester to run on our server, but we're running into a problem. We can't accept multiple quests at once, even after raising the maximum limit of quests you can have in the config. Is there something I've forgotten, perhaps?

Support for spaces in arguments has been added in 0.7. Npckill does not recognize shooter as killer at the moment. It's not a bug, it's missing feature and it will be added in some of the future updates.
In other words, you need to rename NPC if you don't want to use development version of Quester.

Posted Nov 19, 2013Hey, just made a quest and everything is working fine except it doesn't recognize the npckill objective as complete if the npc is killed with a bow. Do I need to configure this somewhere? Oh and is there any way to add a space for npckill? If the npc's name is Dark Wizard it won't work if I do /q obj add npckill Dark Wizard or with an underscore. Or do I have to rename the npc?

Yes. Command event I say.
Quester 0.6 can use player's name in the command.
Quester 0.7 can even execute the command as player himself.

It has a command to give a specific player a specific gun but what will that do? Sorry i'm confused.. but would there be a way to have this command executed when you complete the quest?
