Quester

Quester is highly customizable plugin handling all kinds of quests. From simple "gather to get reward" quests, to complicated forked story-telling quests. What is even better, everything is customizable on-the-fly directly in game ! No more restarting/reloading your server every time to change something. Localizable messages, plenty of different, highly-customizable objectives, conditions, events and flags. NPC and sign support. All this together creates almost unlimited possibilities.
Found a bug? Have a suggestion? Sumbit a ticket.
Don't forget to specify Quester version you are using and label the ticket appropriately. Tickets without label will take longer to review or be ignored completely.
Latest DEV version should be working with recent minecraft versions. See dev builds.

To get more quests from NPC that is trying to complete your current quest, you need to sneak when right-clicking.

(So, to set unlimited quests I put 0 on this limit, right?)
If you mean they can have 5 quests at a time, not the quests they can do on the whole game forever, this is not working when you make the quests be started by an NPC. If you have a quest started and you speak with an NPC (with a holder and quests) to get more quests, he says "You can't complete your quest here.".
(If you speak with the same NPC that gave the quest you get your progress)

max-amount represents the amount of quests the player can have at once. If you want players to nob be able to repeat quests, you will need to use conditions.

No ono je to dost nešikovné.
Mám na serveru tokeny, které mají stejné id ale jiné data-value a do jednoho q když potřebuješ od každého 15, tak se ti ve výsledku spojí a přijdeš o jeden druh.

Can't players start more than one quest or are they able to progress only in one at a time ? If latter one is true, then know that it's meant to work that way. If player's can't start more than one quest, you might need to shut server down, change config and start it again. You can check if it works by typing "/q quests", since limit is shown there. I just testet it with v0.6.3.4 and it works as expected.

It happens when you are doin action objective where block is specified and you click entity. Not a big deal, I will fix it later when I have more time.

there's a good chance that it seems that way for you cause you are op and op's automatically ignore quest conditions. your players will still experience it fine. though a toggle for ops to be able to not ignore conditions would be great!

I seem to be having a problem with the questnot command, which is when I give a quest the condition questnot, the quest still automatically repeats or starts itself over again when the last objective is completed, which is interacting with the NPC that gave you the quest. I know how that combination could be confusing to the computer, but it's a malfunction nonetheless and it's frustrating not being able to use the questnot command for a common quest ending, where you would have to go back to the quest giver. Overall, very good plugin though. Hope this is fixed soon. Thanks for reading.

Stava sa to pri vsetkych itemoch alebo je to len konkretny pripad ? Na vytvaranie noveho itemstacku totiz pouzivam metodu z bukkitu, ktora pouziva metodu zo samotneho minecraftu, takze toto by sa stavat nemalo.

Posted Apr 20, 2013Ahoj, potřeboval bych jeden rychlý bugfix, pokud by to šlo.
Problém je s COLLECT objectivem (nastavení, kdy to itemy po pickup nedává do invu ale bere pro quest)
Jde o to, že když máš item s data-value, třeba 264:1 a 264:2, v inventáři máš 40ks od každého a v questu je úkolem přinést 15 kusů 264:2. Když vyhodíš celý stack 264:2 na zem a vezmeš to k sobě, tak se ti splní quest ale zbylých 25ks 264:2 se ti do inventáře přidá jako 264:1.
Prostě jakoby ten systém, co ti to vrátí do invu, ignoroval data-value a prostě to stacknul jen ke stejnému id (v mém případě 264).
Nevím, jestli je to chyba na straně Questeru, nebo jinde, ale zkus se na to kouknout prosímtě.

I don't know, but I tried it with newest epicboss and quester 0.6.3.4 and it did work. You may want to try without other plugins installed to see if something else is interfering.

You may be using old version of quester. Newest 0.6.3 version is 0.6.3.4 and it does work with newest EpicBoss. It is development version.
About location, you can set up location objective and run events when it's completed.

Posted Apr 19, 2013Are you able to make an event happen when you enter an area? It says on occasion, yet the only occasions that it says work are Quest cancel/accept/complete. So I'm wondering if you can make it so events can happen on completion of another event. If you can already I'm completely unaware and didn't understand that part of what I read. Lol...
The boss objective isn't working. I kill the 5 Zombie bosses that I have and it acts as though I never did
Or to be more specific my actual using of this is here:

And my progress moves none at all.
