Quester

Quester is highly customizable plugin handling all kinds of quests. From simple "gather to get reward" quests, to complicated forked story-telling quests. What is even better, everything is customizable on-the-fly directly in game ! No more restarting/reloading your server every time to change something. Localizable messages, plenty of different, highly-customizable objectives, conditions, events and flags. NPC and sign support. All this together creates almost unlimited possibilities.
Found a bug? Have a suggestion? Sumbit a ticket.
Don't forget to specify Quester version you are using and label the ticket appropriately. Tickets without label will take longer to review or be ignored completely.
Latest DEV version should be working with recent minecraft versions. See dev builds.

I don't think it's too alpha, it's alpha because release itself would actually be beta, and 0.7 is not out yet. However, I would not use it on production server, since there can be some "more visible" issues, and it does not even save automatically. (yes, intended)

Yes and no. Not in 0.6.3, but 0.7 alpha has DSCRIPT event, but it's not documented anywhere, so you will have to use help in game. It's also untested, but you are free to do so.

It will be added eventually. Until then, you can use external plugin that does that and use command event to give those items to player.

Not possible yet. You can set cancel event with 2m delay, but it will bug out if player will be fast enough to get another quest within 2 minutes or server is restarted while the quest is in progress.

I want a quest where I at 1 npc quest take and conclude it with 2 npc quest but I have to have 2 minutes time to complete a quest, more than 2 minutes to complete the quest is canceled

Posted Mar 31, 2013Say I write a book with some quest instructions or hints or whatever. Is there a way to have that book linked to a quest so that when people start a quest the book is handed out to them by quester or an NPC ?

It sets specified objective in current quest as completed. No events assigned to that objective are run and no message about objective completion is displayed.

Safe to test, not safe to use on production server. All important info is on the alpha page. Some changes are in comments there, all changes are in commits on github.

You should REALLY make it so that it can read 0.6 files and convert them. I would really appreciate it, i have over 30 quests, and not just small ones. I would love to help you testing if it is safe enough to use on my server.

Posted Mar 29, 2013Just added a little more to 0.7alpha, sorry for the breakages, they may eventually be softened a little to make 0.6.3 -> 0.7 transition smoother. I still recommend using 0.7 only for testing purposes.
