Quester

Quester is highly customizable plugin handling all kinds of quests. From simple "gather to get reward" quests, to complicated forked story-telling quests. What is even better, everything is customizable on-the-fly directly in game ! No more restarting/reloading your server every time to change something. Localizable messages, plenty of different, highly-customizable objectives, conditions, events and flags. NPC and sign support. All this together creates almost unlimited possibilities.
Found a bug? Have a suggestion? Sumbit a ticket.
Don't forget to specify Quester version you are using and label the ticket appropriately. Tickets without label will take longer to review or be ignored completely.
Latest DEV version should be working with recent minecraft versions. See dev builds.

Thanks for the answer. I know i can edit them in-game.
But it is way harder and takes way to much time to use so many commands for editing every single sentence or objective. When i make large quests it is way easier to use the file and reload it. The only thing that makes it hard is that you need to specify locations in-game.
And then it saves the quest.yml and i need to restart server again blabla. You probably know what i mean. Can you please add it soon :) I would be able to make quests way faster without disturbing my players.
ALSO:
Can you add (if there isnt yet, i couldnt find it) a feature to run events after an objective is completed?

Posted Mar 22, 2013I successfully created quest using these commands.
/q c Location
/q obj a loc here 3
/q evt a 0 spawn zombie 3 here 3
Then i successfully activated it and completed it.
/q toggle
/q start Location
Walked near the location and spawned zombies.
I was using Quester version 0.6.3.4. If you could describe your issue more, it would be great.

Posted Mar 22, 2013Documentation doesn't make sense, some of it is not even reconized by the plugin in-game..
I've tried for over a 3 hours now to understand and get some of it to work.. But even a quest as simple as going somewhere, spawn some monsters, kill them, and return. I can't produce.
Everything I do seems to be failing. I made the quest, assigned it to an NPC holder, had the first objective set as a location. But how do I add the event that when the player gets there, the monsters spawn?
I'm using this /q event add {<occasion>} spawn {<entity>} <amount> {<location>} [range] With Occasion being objective 0 (as /q info said) entity being zombie, amount 3, location here and range 3?

I do not plan to track every mob hit. It would also be wrong if someone just hit a mob and went away. This would mean additional time tracking, so no, I don't think it's worth it.

The map we're building randomly places chests connected with phatloots, so theres a chance you could get a book. It would be really cool if we could hook onto either having the specific book in your hand, or before/after reading the book.

Posted Mar 19, 2013Hi, I have a little problem with the plugin will create Quester namely when the quest and it will do no one else can do it I gave the command / q flag add onlyfirst in charge of doing the quest once thought only once for each person au only once per person;/ But without this flag, you can do forever quest help! I want to do to be able to do the quest but each person only once. Conditions do not understand completely, I could write one command after the other like this? I am a Pole, I do not understand English well -, -

Posted Mar 18, 2013I assigned my holder to a sign. I left click on the sign and show me the quest, then I right click and it says " No quest selected " What I need to do to take the quest ?
It does the same things with a NPC assignes with my holder.
