Quester

Quester is highly customizable plugin handling all kinds of quests. From simple "gather to get reward" quests, to complicated forked story-telling quests. What is even better, everything is customizable on-the-fly directly in game ! No more restarting/reloading your server every time to change something. Localizable messages, plenty of different, highly-customizable objectives, conditions, events and flags. NPC and sign support. All this together creates almost unlimited possibilities.
Found a bug? Have a suggestion? Sumbit a ticket.
Don't forget to specify Quester version you are using and label the ticket appropriately. Tickets without label will take longer to review or be ignored completely.
Latest DEV version should be working with recent minecraft versions. See dev builds.

Poeple don't seem to care about 0.7 alpha testing, so I don't know. I also need to finish some private stuff first.
You can create more example quests to show people how to use all the stuff, if you really want to.

Posted Mar 10, 2013Ragan how long until 0.7 is released do you think? I was thinking about making a more updated video documentation. Though I'm not sure what to include since you can find all the information you need here. Maybe I'll just make a quest and show to gist of it.^^

Iba niektore objectivy vyzaduju manualne splnenie, to su tie ktorych kontrola by zaberala zbytocne vela casu. (item, exp, money)

No když to nejde aby to šlo splnit u NPC s jiným holderem tak to hold udělám jako delší quest s několika objectivy.
Možná by se tedy hodil nějaký flag pro autocomplete který by splnil quest po splnění posledního objective.
EDIT: Hm, tak ono to tak očividně funguje. Když jsem splnil poslední objective tak to napsalo že quest splněný.

Stay away ! su cisty citizens. Ano, vzdy sa to da nastavit aby sa uloha dala splnit u ineho npccka, len daj tomu npccku holder v ktorom je dany quest a on sa ho pokusi automaticky splnit vzdy ked nanho kliknes. Ale pozor, u toho isteho NPC sa bude dat ten quest aj zacat, co je mensia nevyhoda.

Posted Mar 9, 2013Když v tom Quest example mluvíš o tom jak NPC říká "Stay away" atd., tak to jsou jen čistí Citizens nebo je potřeba něco jako Denizens?
A další věc - když mám jen samostatné Citizens, dá se nějak nastavit aby se dal úkol splnit bez commandů i u jiného NPC než byl sebrán?

Quester urcite tento problem nesposobuje. Pravdepodobne mas danu oblast chranenu nejakym pluginom, ktory zakazuje hracom bez urciteho povolenia sa tam teleportnut.

Posted Mar 8, 2013Ahoj, mám problém s Eventem teleport, nastavil jsem ho na ukol, adminovi to normálně funguje, ovšem normálnímu hráči to napíše "You dont have teleport acces". Nemůže to být špatně nastaveno, když adminovi to jde, ale normal hráči ne...
Zkoušel jsem ten teleport dát hned vedle NPC a šlo to i normal hráči, dal jsem ho dál o 300 bloků a jde to jen adminovi.

Denizen script event?, so it is possible to launch a denizen script with an event?, I looked for it on http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/quester/pages/events/ and all the other documentation but I didn't find it. How it is possible to launch a denizen script if it is possible?
Edit: Ok, I took a look at the source and I think I know how. I'll try it when I have time and I say you if it is working properly :D.

World name needs to be specified last. I plan to add optional location to every single objectve, I'm just not sure which way to go.

Sadly, I don't. I don't have any schedule. Unless you decide to "support that feature", then I might focus a little more. There is already denizen script event. (I'm not sure if it's working properly, though.) Denizen commands will be added in 0.7+.

there are already optional objectives. For location objections I always use ``here`` instead of xyz. It's just such a time saver. I might agree with the mobkill area. But i just put my players in a room or a cave and then spawn some monsters in them.

Just having a bit with trouble with the objective location, what command would I use? /q objective add loc world;100;50;100 5 ? because that doesnt work for me? Can you give me an example please? Also do you think you can add a Kill location as an option for mob kills? This feature is on another plugin I saw And I thought this would be perfect for some more in depth objectives for this plugin, It can make it a bit more role playish. rather then just letting players kill mobs in random places. Also do you think you can make optional objectives where you only need to do 1 objective out of say 4 or 5 to complete it? Anyways Thank for the awesome plugin - add hereoes support ;D

yes it was the pvp: false setting.
I don't want my server to be a pvp one. Is there no way around this?
