PvPTime for Bukkit

Lets you choose what in-game hours you want PvP enabled. Perhaps you want to give the players yet another reason to keep indoors during the night?

PvPTime is also available for Forge and Sponge.

Features

Configurable time when PvP is enabled and disabled
Broadcasts when the PvP state changes
Multi world support
WorldGuard support (see below)
Towny support (PvP is enabled when it’s in war time)

Permissions

pvptime.* - All permissions below
pvptime.override - If you want anybody to be able to deal damage even during daytime, let them have this permission
pvptime.nopvp - If you want anybody to always be protected from PvP even in nighttime, let them have this permission
pvptime.reload - Permission for /pvptime reload
pvptime.info - Permission for /pvptime info

Extra Information

The plugin requires pvp=on in your server.properties.

WorldGuard Support

PvP Flag Allowed: PvP enabled in day and night time (/region flag REGION pvp allow)
PvP Flag Cleared: PvP only enabled in night time (/region flag REGION pvp)
PvP Flag Denied: PvP disabled in day and night time (/region flag REGION pvp deny)

I have the same problem what smogghy, i want to make a area where is pvp 24/7 . Worldguard solution not work for me.

Not really sure if that is possible. You could try defining an arena and then do "flag <region> pvp allow"

Just check the config and turn pvptime on in the worlds you want pvp at certain times.

I have a question: I use Multiverse, do I have to set PvP on or off in my worlds? I want in nether and in end worlds, pvp always enabled, but in normal world, at nighttime enabled and daytime disabled. How can I do that?

I can't really explain why it doesn't work either, however, not only do the weapons do damage, but some are projectiles, some that rebound off of people and even hit yourself, recoil, poison. I don't think it should effect initial damage, but I don't know if there is anything special about those weapons to bypass the plugin, works awesome regardless

Not sure what doesn't work. The plugin only listens for damage events, so as long as they fire the correct events it shouldn't be a problem.

If u have worldguard type this:

/region flag __global__ potion-splash deny

This globally disables splash potions, but even at night (Temporarily fix?)

When it`s day time, and pvp is off, players still can hurt other players by using poison or damage potions.

I think this plugin is awesome and perfect for the aim of my server, but I am using Tekkit, which now has updated to have another Mod, "Balkons Weapon Mod" which is not effected by the PvPTime system. Since it is a Tekkit server I know it isn't meant to be specifically compatible, but it works with Red Matter and Dark Matter tools (I don't know about the other few) and I hope that you would consider looking into it. - Thanks!

good plugin, only problem it doesnt work great with essentials chat, it does not broadcast the pvp enable/disable messages.
