PvP Titles

Table of Contents

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of Minecraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

This plugin is based on the Hero titles from Guild Wars and takes the idea of PvP Titles. These Titles reflect a player's success in defeating other players by earning Titles after a specific amount of Kills.

You can see a demonstration of the plugin in this video. (May be outdated after some time)

Features

Get new Titles on Player kills
Set your own Titles and their Fame amount
Check out the Fame System
One simple command for all your desires /rank

Commands

/rank - Displays your info
/ladder - Shows top 5 players with fame

Permissions

pvptitles.rank - Activates /rank command.
pvptitles.ladder - Activates /ladder command.
pvptitles.chat - Enable rank in chat, REQUIRED true in config

I have problem with chatmanager

i want to have [RANK] <Admin>Player: Messages

if chatmanger is enabled RANK will not work :(

Chatmanger:

enable: true
message-format: <%prefix%player%suffix> %message
global-message-format: <%prefix%player%suffix> &e%message
ranged-mode: true
chat-range: 100.0

Anyone can help me? masybe %pvptitle?

If you don't explain it better I can't help you. Normally it would create a folder named PvPTitles and in it is another folder that stores all players.

thanks... and another bug:

with this plugin installed my server dont save new players profile...

i can't explain better... sorry:

i use a list of players to see all players IP to search a cheaters IP and ban all the accounts... but with this plugin, no new users are saved....

That's probably because townychat overwrites my prefix. I also look into that later.

For some odd reason or another this is not working for my server. I have enabled chatmanager and all seems to be working well. I have tested the plugin with one of my members and it is registering his fame perfectly as constructed but the rank does not show next to his name.

What could be wrong?

and let me mention this is my first time downloading this plugin so, like I've read, I wouldn't think I'd need to delete any "config" files.

Thats the whole point. Please read the configuration page. You can add/remove ranks and their required fame.

or well a way for it to only work in 1 world? see i have a pvp world and a vanilla world i rather have the titles only set in the pvp world or atleast a way players can turn it off in vanilla world.

Now, the PvPTitle prefix just copies my current group prefix. Like this:

I have premissionsEX and ChatManager installed, and I also use EssentialsChat.

Just checked, it (V 1.2.5 pvptitles) works fine with the most recent dev build. Since the dev build is pretty far along, it should work with the recommended build when it comes out so you don't have to worry about that for a while. It also works with multiverse for titles.

When bukkit is updated to 1.3 yes. Until than it should work anyways with the dev build
