PropertyGuard
PropertyGuard
Player controlled property protection, purchasing, and sales!
Allows players to select an area (using the WorldEdit two point cuboid selection method), check the price to protect it, purchase the protection, which creates a WorldGuard Protected Region. Then they can cash it out to remove it, or offer it for sale to another player.
Properties are created with the following WorldGuard Region Protection Flags set:
Flags.use deny
Flags.greeting Entering %player%'s protected area
Flags.farewell Leaving %player%'s protected area
You can change these to any other WorldGuard Region Flag, see the Configuration Page for more information.
Commands
To select an area:
Hold a wooden ax, and left click to set the first point, then go to the opposite corner of the 3D Cuboid Area and select the second point.
This requires giving players the WorldEdit "worldedit.selection.pos " Permission. See the Permissions Page for more information.
To check the price before you buy a new property (first select an area):
/pg price
To buy a new property (first select an area):
/pg buy {new_property}
To see information about a property:
/pg info {property}
The property parameter is not needed if you are in a WorldGuard Region that has no overlapping regions.
To cash a property (sell for a faction of the price back to the server):
/pg cash {property}
To sell a property to another player (this sends and offer for the sale):
/pg sell {property} {player} {price}
To accept a sale offer (this is done by the receiving player:
/pg yes
NOTE: Both players must be online and in the world where the property is located to complete the sales transaction.
To add a member to your property:
/pg add {property} {player}
To remove a member from your property:
/pg remove {property} {player}
To set WorldGuard Protection Flags on your property:
/pg flag {property} {flag_name} {setting}
Notes
All transactions assign the players to and remove from any properties (WorldGuard Regions) involved, and also add or deduct any money from the economy.
The lowest price a new property sells for is $1, the lowest price a property can be cashed out is $0.
Requires WorldGuard, WorldEdit, Vault, and an economy for Vault to connect to.

Probably not, since this uses WorldGuard's Regions and Database much like my ProtectionStones Plugin, so it would require a second database making the plugin not only larger but much slower and server intensive to keep it in sync with WorldGuard.

Currently no time estimate, because of updates to numerous 1.3.1 servers, besides my plugins, etc.
And it uses WorldEdit for the selection regions so at this time unless I add a lot more code to the plugin, it will be using WorldEdit's Wand whichever one you choose (default wood ax etc).
And the only permission the player needs is the "worldedit.selection.pos" which only allows them to select an area, it doesn't give them any other WorldEdit Functions, this also doesn't allow them to use the wand command (separate perm), they need to make a wooden ax.

thanks ill keep checking back any estimate when youll add it? and i used to have protectionstones but i restarted for 1.3.1 so was jooking at alternatives and found this, also for this is there way you could add built into the plugin so it doesnt use worldedit permissions at all? so i for example i can set it so players use a gold axe (configurable) while i can stil use woodensword (the tool i set for worldedit)
thanks

Works fine on 1.3.1, I won't recompile it until Bukkit releases a stable (non-dev release), and the same goes with waiting on WorldEdit and WorldGuard.
Otherwise you would see a new version of PG every few hours as each new dev release becomes available.

Posted Jun 11, 2012That's true... But perhaps this suggestion will make sense... If you don't like (repeated) questions about future plans or ideas, at least make a mention in your OP about reading the capabilities and features of ProtectionStones and to read all comments. Or, make a small todo list on this page where people can see what's planned and what isn't. I just don't have the habit of reading all previous comments or checking other plugins for future features.

Sorry Katorone, you gave a five paragraph comment with questions some that had already been answered, so a simple yes or no answer wouldn't have been enough.

Posted Jun 10, 2012Sorry, since I don't use ProtectionStones I have no idea how the finer things in its configuration work. A simple "yes" or "no" would have sufficed though.
