Change your chat prefix

With PrefixChatManager you can manage your prefix in chat. How? It is a simple plugin (simpler than Essentials, lol) that allow the creation of prefixes via chat! With command "/prefix", you can choose about your prefix change. "Yes, but what is a prefix", someone can thinks. A prefix is a player title. It is a fun or thechnique expression. It could be "Admin", for an administrator or "Mod" for a moderator. A prefix is before the name, so a chat message could be "Admin nullYoung > hello!", where "Admin" is prefix and "nullYoung" is my username.

 

Commands

So, we have said that this plugin works with "/prefix" command. It allow to change the prefix. The commands are:

  • prefix
  • removePrefix

First command ("prefix") has 1 arguments: the prefix. So it is "/prefix Admin" for an administrator prefix. Then you must follow istructions. Second command ("removePrefix") simply remove your prefix. It doesn't require arguments.

 

Permission

The unique permission is "prefix.use". It give access to "/prefix" and "/removePrefix" commands. 

Configuration

In configuration file ("config.yml"), in the plugin folder, you can edit chat format and player prefixes. In chat format you can use 3 placeholders: "%name%", for player name, "%prefix%", for player prefix and "%message%" for player message.
