Prefix Choice

Description

What it is

This plugin allows you to specify what prefixes you want to use along with allowing your players to choose their own prefix so that you don't have to worry about it.

commands

/SetPrefix [Prefix] - Sets a players prefix to [Prefix] if they are allowed to and use it and it exists
/Prefixes - Displays all prefixes by their base name.

Permissions

PrefixChoice.[Prefix] - Permissions for the prefixes where [Prefix] is the base name of the prefixes. The permissions are automatically generated and do not show up in the plugin.yml

How it works

You specify the prefixes in a list in the config then the prefix groups are automatically generated to contain the displayed name of the prefix with compatibility for color codes.

Config

Prefixes: This is a list of all of the base names of the prefixes. This name goes in place of [Prefix] in the /SetPrefix command and the permissions
- - Prefix1
- - Prefix2
- - ...
- - PrefixN
Default: The default displayed prefix if someone hasn't selected a prefix yet
Prefix1:
- name: How the prefix is displayed. Supports color codes
- players: The players that are using this prefix
  - - Player1
  - - Player2

Can you add a default prefix for a group. So that I can give default [mod] for my mods and then can change it to something different also add *like willbbz said* the non case-sensetive

Please Help!!!!! I don't even know how to choose prefixes! I went in the config and made default 2 [Owner] but I don't know how to choose it!

Love the plugin! Just some suggestions :)

- A reload command - Add a /setPrefix <player> <prefix> command the console can make - Also have the /SetPrefix command set to not be case sensitive

Not really. You could make a prefix that is nothing by just putting ' ' in place of the prefix. You could also have that be your default

Hey, is there anyway to turn off the prefix? Like /setprefix Default or /setprefix off ?

The permissions are PrefixChoice.[Prefix] where [Prefix] is the base name of the prefix. If your permissions plugin doesn't support that then you should probably get a different permissions plugin as that is from bukkit's built-in permission system.

You should make it work with most Permissions plug-ins. IE: In a Permissions plug-in, a rank could be "llama", and on the config for the Prefixes, it could be "llama", and when the Permissions plug-in lists Jogy34 under "llama", Jogy34 would get that "llama" prefix!

@Jogy34 Hey! Im using your plugin and I love it! One thing though! I am needing to constantly change player's prefixes and there is no easy way to do that! I was wondering if you could add the command "/SetPrefix [Player-Name] [Prefix]? Thanks -Chase*

parsifal21 there is no need for that when you can just as easily go into the config.yml and erase there prefixes.
