PotionHUD
PotionHUD
PotionHUD is a plugin inspired by the Mod itself, ArmorHUD. This plugin will use a sidebar display, to display all potion effects on a player. If you have slowness, it will display slowness, if you have speed, it will display speed. This plugin has been made to more well suit PvP on server, and actually make it easier for player to view their potion effects, without having to open their inventory. This plugin is very useful for players and server that are heavily based upon PvP. This could also be used on any ordinary server. Its a really useful, and helpful display. There are versions and these types of plugin out there, but this one has been updated, and build better code wise, and plugin wise. This plugin will override any other sidebar displays to display the potion effects. All effects are displays from Most Time left down. All potions with a longer duration left will be at the top, and shortest duration at the bottom of the sidebar. As far a the plugin has been tested, there are no flickering, or does not conflict with any other sidebars. But this will override any other sidebars to display your potion effects. As soon as your potion effects are over, for an example, it will display the top pvpers on the server again with Scoreboard stats, etc.

Commands
1. /potionhud - Displays a menu of the plugin

2. /potionhud reload - Reloads the plugin Config. (Command used to reload Config file, if any changed are made. Whole server restart to reload is not required.
- Permission - potionhud.reload Needed to reload config.

Config
This plugin is very easy to configure. It has simple configuration, which is color. Be default, all 'good/beneficial' potion effect will be display in green (&a) within the plugin, this can be changed. All 'bad/non-beneficial' effects are displays with red (&c). Which ever colors you need to change, all you have to do is change the letter, for an example, if it potion effect color is displayed as &c (which is red) and you want it to be Dark Red, all you have to do is change the 'c' to a '4'. As easy as that. The title is also configurable, and the color can be changed.

Color Coding (Within Config File)
This plugin uses the standard color codes for minecraft. These will be displayed below for anyone not aware of them. Instructions to change colors have been stated above, within the Config section of the description.

I use this one a large server and it works fine. I doubt is has to do with how big or small the server is, from where I see it. I would try ArmorHUD plugin and see if it causes the same issues - as it has the same concept, but with armor.

Posted Sep 26, 2015My server just lags to the max with this, probably because of the TPS it uses. It's 8 GB ram and has a good processor but this just lags it straight away. I had an issue with another similar plugin, the same happened.

No I have not published to spigot. When I have time I will though, probably remove it from here. I'll see how it goes. And no, for now source code is not available. Thanks for the feedback.

Posted Sep 23, 2015This is actually really really neat. I like this idea a heck of a lot. Creative and unique. I've never seen anything like this. It reminds me a lot of the ArmourHUD, but for potion effects. I love how the negative effects are in red, and positive effects are in green.
This is VERY useful for Factions servers, and VERY aesthetically pleasing. Keep up the great work, because this deserves much more than 9 downloads (as of posting this comment)
