Ports
Ports

Ports allows you to define regions which transport players around the world instantly, or on a schedule of your choosing.
Your ports can be trains, planes, ships, portals, whatever you like. You are limited only by your imagination!
Important notices
- This plugin requires WorldEdit, and will not work without it.
- All pre-existing port data from Ports v0.2 will be unusable with Ports v0.3 and above. If you have a large number of ports set up, you can use the sql2yaml Ruby script to convert the database to the new format. If you need help, please feel free to private message me on BukkitDev.
- The current version should still work on 1.6. If you have any issues, please post a comment.

What does the error say exactly? It should say "You do not have permission." in red text, otherwise it's probably another plugin causing the problem. If you could put a copy of your permissions config on pastebin that'd be really helpful. Also, do any errors appear in your server log?
@Elfsovereign
Sorry, at the moment it doesn't teleport players who are inside a vehicle (it used to but it caused all sorts of wacky bugs so I removed the feature). I'll try and get it working again at some point.
@Yetsuo
Sorry, that's not meant to happen - thanks for reporting it, I'll fix it asap.

Posted Dec 1, 2011I set permission in PermissionsEX via console to admin group 'ports.*' and it doesnt work. Mc client replies me that I don't have permission to use command /port create [name]. Then i changed it into 'ports.create' and it still don't works.
Here is part of permissions file:
groups: admin: permissions: - ports.*
What should I change?

Posted Dec 1, 2011Pardon my ignorance, but DOES this work whilst on a minecart or boat or other vehicle? If so that would just be amazing, if not I'm still probably going to look into this when I update my server.

Posted Nov 27, 2011Oh another thing I noticed idk if it is meant to be that way but when you put a port at the bottom of a long drop when they come out of the port it kills them.

Posted Nov 26, 2011EDIT: It was Multiverse. Permissions. Problem: When I boarded one of the ports, it counts down, off the schedule right, but when it ends, it says, "You don't have access to go here." It leads to a separate world, and I do have multiverse, and have not put any permissions in with that plugin, but is it something to do with ports? If so, how do I fix it? Thank you

Sorry I haven't updated this in a while - I've been kinda busy with uni work recently. I'll get that feature implemented as soon as I can.

Posted Nov 25, 2011Hey! Almost got this server I play on to get this plugin! Alright, on my own server, it would be really nice if we could get permissions-per-port, how's the dev going for that? Also, if you need me to help document new features for upcoming updates, I would be more than willing to! Keep up the good work!

Sorry, that's outside the scope of this plugin. If you want players to have different inventories in different worlds, Ports supports MultiInv (http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/multiinv/).

Posted Nov 10, 2011Hey there A friend and I are trying to set up a server, we love the idea of ports and want to use it in the server but we also want to be able restrict access to using them by rank. We have PermissionsEx and I have seen it done on another server but when I asked them about it they had a serious plug up their buts and no love for the community cause all I got was "its a trade secret". Sorry if this is a FAQ; Any assistance or knowledge you can share would be appreciated highly.

Wait, citizens quests can grant you permissions on completion? That's epic :P
I have a proper ticketing system planned that will allow you to use maps as tickets. For example, map #0 could be a train ticket, #1 could be a boat ticket, etc. They would be rendered using a custom renderer to make them actually look like tickets. You could give people these tickets as rewards for quests or you could sell them via an economy plugin or whatever. Maybe this is what you're after?

Posted Nov 8, 2011It will be great if you add:
- ports.port.[port name]
Because that's epic for Citizens Quests, like after you finished a quest, you can use the port! (No worries, that's already in citizens XD)

Check out the /port schedule command. It's not quite the same as warmup/cooldown but it serves a similar purpose.
This plugin wasn't intended to be used like that though...
