PortalStick
Have you ever wanted to have portal gun in minecraft? Have you ever wanted to make your own portal test chambers and make your friends solve it? Now you can do this!
PortalStick is plugin that tries to emulate Portal as close as possible in Minecraft without client mods.
For errors, problems and suggestion make a ticket! Errors, problems and suggestions in comments will be ignored.
Higlights
- Allows you to create blue and orange portals!
- Allows you to teleport between blue and orange portals!
- Preserves momentum when teleporting between portals (speedy thing goes in, speedy thing comes out)
- Can teleport practically everything like redstone current, minecarts, gravel, TNT, items, water etc.
- You can create various portal elements such as Aperture Science Material Emancipation Grill, Aerial Faith Plates, Blue gel blocks and Red gel blocks
- Supports Permissions! (optional)
- Ability to create regions, so players can create portals only in specified area.
- Diamond boots can prevent fall damage
Demonstration Course
PortalStick Demonstration course is little course build by me (matejdro) and CuteLord to demonstrate new features of PortalStick after each update. You have probably already seen first part of the course in the first video above.
You can download this course and try it yourself. It's great to do that after update, so you can instantly try new features while having fun. I'm also trying to make a story out of these series.

But if you don't want to download and set up whole new server just to try some stuff, you can watch walkthroughs of these courses, to familiarize yourself with new features.

Bridge can be activated without fire: okay thanks, I will look into that. What is the maximum length of the bridge: Till it hits a unloaded chunk... How I can control direction of bridge and excursion funnel? Block one "exit"? Yeah, it checks all sides, first east, west etc, then down and up. It will take the first open face. Funnel is very buggy, created one, can remove now so are bridges, they are not really released yet. You should only use them to report bugs, not for productive use.
Please create tickets for the bugs you find, like bridges can be created without fire, that makes it lots of easier for me to remember them and manage them, thanks :)

Posted Apr 20, 2012There's a way to use another block - like the purple nether portal block - instead suger cane in the emancipation grill? (sorry for the mistakes, english isn't my language ;D)
EDIT: in the 3.0.0 beta - i've seen that portals can't teleport mobs and arrows.

Place in row redstone torch, ironblock, air, ironblock, redstone torch. Fire up one of the iron blocks.

Why is the bridge going in only ONE direction????
Suggestion:
You can make the lasers with Lava because you die and you can place blocks in it like storage cubes.

Posted Apr 15, 2012Help!!! I changed the region.yml to allow portals on ALL the blocks. But I still can't place portals everywhere. Only Smooth Stone. P.S: when someone tries to place portals on unauthorized blocks, it says "GLaDoS: Those are portal-proof walls you moron. No portals." XD

awesome! It's like this: i - i X - X where i = redstone torch X = iron block
Then light one of the blocks. Now it will create a light bridge when both of the torches are on. About the coop map, do you have a server? cuze else you could use my project build server with always the latest dev version of portalstick. (free)

Posted Apr 12, 2012I agree with tek2974, I use the emancipation grill for my server to keep people from bringing any items into a certain world with them and thats about it. If you would release just the emancipation grill as a plugin that would be cool with me. either that or direct me to another plugin that just deletes everything in your inventory when walking through it.
