PortalLinker

PortalLinker

Tired of vanilla nether portals dumping you in the wrong spot? PortalLinker hard-links portal pairs to exact coordinates, completely bypassing Minecraft's fuzzy portal search and auto-creation. Set it once — every trip lands exactly where you told it to, for players and entities.

Built for technical setups where portal precision is everything: portal-based chunk loaders, orbital TNT cannons, portal hubs, and multi-portal networks that vanilla linking constantly breaks.

Features

  • ðŸŽŊ Exact linking — teleport to precise coordinates, no search, no stray portals
  • 🔁 Two-way — enter either side, arrive at the other
  • ðŸ‘Ĩ Players and entities — items, mobs and TNT redirect too (great for entity chunk loaders)
  • ðŸ–ąïļ In-game menu — browse, teleport to, and delete links with a click
  • ðŸ’ū Persistent — links survive restarts
  • ⚙ïļ Configurable match radius
  • ðŸŠķ Lightweight — event-driven, no tick overhead

How to use

  1. Stand in your first portal → //setportal1
  2. Go to the other dimension, stand in the second portal → //setportal2
  3. //save (or //save myname) — the pair links and the temp points reset
  4. //portals — open the menu of all links

Single-slash aliases also work: /setportal1/setportal2/saveportal/portals.

Menu controls: Left-click → teleport to Portal 1 · Right-click → teleport to Portal 2 · Shift-click → delete the link

Config: link-radius: 3.0 — how close (in blocks) a portal must be entered to count.

Permission: portallinker.use (default: OP)

Compatibility: Paper / Purpur 1.21 – 1.21.11, Java 21+. Not for plain Spigot/Bukkit (uses the Paper API).
