About:
Poll is a plugin where you can make polls and vote on the different answers. You can see all the votes and you can easily change the options in your plugin
Commands:
/poll help - Shows the help menu
/poll create <pollname> - Create a new poll
/poll delete <pollname> - Delete a poll
/poll view <pollname> - View a poll
/poll viewresults <pollname> - View the results of a poll
/poll vote <pollname> <answer> - Vote on an answer from the poll
/poll answer add <pollname> <answername> - Add a new answer to the poll
/poll answer delete <pollname> <answer> - Delete an answer from the poll
Permissions:

To do list:
Add support for clicking on the text for voting
See who has voted
Add permissions for specifi polls

Posted Jan 27, 2017Hi, will there be an update for version 1.11.2?
Im using Spigot 1.11.2, i can create, delete and view polls but when i use any other command (like /poll addanswer etc.) only the help shows up. The config.yml is empty!

ServerCOMMAND of Soul Wind Network here. I will be taking over the project. I will be updating the project soon as I recently got the code and would like to take the time to look it over and hopefully be able to add some stuff to it. Who knows maybe the code from the new 1.9 update might ask for a complete remodel of the programming. We never know with Minecraft these days.

THat's a good idea, but the problem is, you can only have one clickevent (just what it does when you click on it) per line of text, so if you had: [A] [B] [C], I can only add a clickevent for either A, B or C.
The more permissions are a good idea. I will add these to the to do list. The logs are I'm going to add too.
You can use Holographic displays and Touch Holograms together, so people can click on a hologram. Add the vote command with the touch holograms plugin and you can vote by clicking on the holograms.

-[B]-[C]only letting A B C characters be clickable with absoutley no chance of the chat scroll ruining the selection except for just causing the A B C to go up a bit right... no chance of clicking something on the next line (: just thought of that
i was also thinking gui would be an idea but, it seems impratical a little bit to only have players use a menu once right buut,
it could be sort of practical to some ppl so i can note, you can easily take a gui plugin and create a custom POLL gui since you have commands that can be linked to the inventory space of the gui :)
just curious, just thought maybe it would be interesting to add logs to show who chose what, maybe just as an option sometimes? but. i could think of many ideas prob.
what about more perms, like for specific created polls?
options to not see results until voted?
let players create there own polls? limited, possibly with option to be accept by op first?
holographic displays support or somethin for ways to view the results?
would be cool if there was like, a clickable hologram or something but have the option to let people confirm or edit there responses, incase of accidental choices etc of course.

Posted May 27, 2015I get what you mean. You want to vote on an answer someones says something innthe chat the chat scrolls up and you click the wrong answer. For now this plugin doesn't have the option to click on the text (want to add it, but I'll have to look it up) and you vote by typing /bg vote <answer> (the answer is the answernumber), but I'll keep this in mind when I add clicking support for text. Probably I disable the chat messages until you have chosen your answer.

Posted May 26, 2015if this poll is to be done in chat, u need to remember that sometimes, people chat right before people click an answer and end up clicking different responses. maybe you'd like to add a confirm button, or edit/redo option just after making our selection in case we did it wrong, but not long enough for us to go change our answers later (unless desired? idk)
anyways
all im mainly saying is, the only thing i see wrong with chat polls is that sometimes when i do them, the chat scrolls from something being added to chat (msg or broadcast etc) and i choose the wrong options and it's just kinda disgusting and sad.
mineplex and hypixel etc i know have that feature and i bet theres results are so messed up and sorta useless because of this. i noticed that all of them only give ONE opportunity to click on your options, after that... your stuck with it.
maybe make it a gui?
