Pokeballs
Poke some mobs with some balls! That's right ladies and gentlemen. With this plugin you can catch mobs with eggs and get spawn eggs! But that's not all, if you right click in the air, you can throw the spawn egg! All mobs can now be catched! Except bosses.
How it works
- Lower the mobs health to half.
- Throw egg.
- After 3 seconds it will either break free, or become a spawn egg!
- With egg there is 30% chance of success.
Config
The config contains the mobs you can catch, and their ID code. Don't remove or temper with the mob stuff
Permissions
- Pokeballs.use - Allows players to catch mobs
- Pokeballs.bypass - Overrise the chance code, and is 100% capture rate for the player.
Future plans
- Developing a mob-vs-mob plugin, so it's possible for matches(like pokemon! :D)
Changelog
1.3 - Added a permission for 100% capture chance.
1.2 - Removed wither and dragon capture possibilities. Removed enderpearl and snowball use, may add later. Fixed wither skeleton and normal skeleton capturing. Fixed skeleton and pigzombie equipment.

Posted Jun 13, 2014People, if you want a mob catcher similar to this that is updated, check out the MobCatcher Plugin! Works in a similar way, but catch by throwing work as well as release by throwing. ALSO!, there is a config for the cost it takes to catch a mob and the percent chance it catches!

Posted Apr 12, 2014I have a few problems... after watching the YouTube video, I downloaded it thinking I could catch mobs (Pokemon) and then throw their egg at a place far away and then recapture them and put them back in the pokeball... but that didn't happen. I caught a skeleton and tried to throw it but I couldn't. It just didn't throw. So I placed it beside me... and it attacked me! So I threw another egg at it but it just got hurt by the egg, not caught! Please help me as I really like this plugin XD

should come in handy for mods ect or donators.
maybe for fun for more ranks u could add more permission types for ranks, people could like this
For instance pokeballs.use.pokeball for default 30% catch rate pokeblalls use.great for 50% and pokeballs.use.ultra for 75%
I dunno i come with weird ideas XD

He means can you add a bypass permission so when you throw the egg at the mob, it automatically captures it, without the 30% chance of the mob being captured. Also, GREAT plugin. Can't wait to test it out! :D

Posted May 5, 2013With no permission, all players can use Pokeballs. I also added negative perms to all players and they can still use Pokeballs.
Is there a fix for this?
