Pokeballs
Poke some mobs with some balls! That's right ladies and gentlemen. With this plugin you can catch mobs with eggs and get spawn eggs! But that's not all, if you right click in the air, you can throw the spawn egg! All mobs can now be catched! Except bosses.
How it works
- Lower the mobs health to half.
- Throw egg.
- After 3 seconds it will either break free, or become a spawn egg!
- With egg there is 30% chance of success.
Config
The config contains the mobs you can catch, and their ID code. Don't remove or temper with the mob stuff
Permissions
- Pokeballs.use - Allows players to catch mobs
- Pokeballs.bypass - Overrise the chance code, and is 100% capture rate for the player.
Future plans
- Developing a mob-vs-mob plugin, so it's possible for matches(like pokemon! :D)
Changelog
1.3 - Added a permission for 100% capture chance.
1.2 - Removed wither and dragon capture possibilities. Removed enderpearl and snowball use, may add later. Fixed wither skeleton and normal skeleton capturing. Fixed skeleton and pigzombie equipment.

Posted Feb 28, 2013Hi, I've been wondering if setting free the ender dragon or the wither will make it a tamed pet or have it go on a crazy rampage destroying everything on your server that isn't protected.

Posted Dec 22, 2012can you make an option to disable snowballs and config the % of catching mobs with eggs (I got a pvpgun plugin and it shoots snowballs and then it tries to catch the mob and not kill it)

Posted Nov 15, 2012Okay, I really really cant wait. This is so awesome! But right now I cant use it on my server. I dont want a giant wave of eggs, I want only Enderpearls to work with a configurable chance of catching the mob.
So please please add: - Configurable Items (Snowballs/Eggs/Enderpearls) - Configurable chance to catch the mob (Seperatly for those items) I cant use it as long as these features are missing. :(
Btw: Enderpearl doesnt work for me. I am not teleported anymore, but they just hit the mob and nothing happens. Tried to bring them down to 1hp, but it still doesnt work. Snowballs and eggs work fine...

Either way it gets used just for the Pokemon effect LOL

That alone made the work worth it! I'm currently making a pokemon plugin, so they can fight and such, so be on the lookout for that soon!
