Description:
PlotGuardian was first intended to be used on a server called ConsiliumCraft, BuilderPlot was not supporting PermissionsEx back then and the plugin appeared not to work very well for our use. As a result of this I started the development of PlotGuardian which originally implemented both WorldGuard and WorldEdit which made the plugin dependent on two other plugins and I was restricted to their code. As from version 1.5 I took a further step ahead and re-coded the whole plugin to make it completely stand-alone.
PlotGuardian protect plots which easily can be created with just one command, no need for separate worlds when you can have re-useable plots implemented into your current world. You can also create a protective plot which protects an area while users with plots inside those areas are still able to build in those.
For those of you who rule economy servers can also enable the economy feature in this plugin to allow users to buy and sell their plots using a sign. This is possible by just typing '[plot]' on the first row and the price on the second (example: '$100'). As the plot name can't be seen on the sign it must be placed in the plot to work.

Compatibility:
PlotGuardian will work just fine as long as you do not have any other plugin using the '/plugin' command, diamondselector (the diamond) or the blazerod. If you plan to use economy you must have Vault installed on your server. Vault doesn't have to be installed if economy support is not needed.
No plugin conflicts yet detected ...
Download and installation:
All downloads for this plugin can be found in the side bar on your right hand side. After you downloaded the plugin it's highly recommended to read the 'Read Me' file provided in the .zip file. In this file you will find further information on how to get started and how to install the plugin.
If you wish to have economy enabled you may also download and install Vault. This plugin can be downloaded from here.

When you create a plot it'll be a free plot, no one will be the owner of it. Therefore you see the name 'noowner' on the sign. If you chose to claim this plot you must type /plot claim <name> or put the plot forsale using /forsale <name> <price> (where <name> is the plots name, not the characters). If this doesn't solve your problem, please check for errors in the console.

I have a plot, a sign on it, enough money in the bank, the sign says "noowner"
When I left-click (I created the plot) nothing happens. No error, my money is still there, nothing.

That's true, no economy does EXIT in any command, nor does it EXIST. Plotguardian doesn't handle any economy, vault and a plugin of your choice does - PlotGuardian will only interact with those plugins. Please specify your issue or read the Usage Guide. Thank you.

Posted Oct 16, 2012@Mshax085 to be perfectly honest I have no idea how this should work.. Maybe have an reclamation period? After the plot expires the plot will still have the players stuff on it and the player has 5 days to renew for his rent or his plot gets put for sale or something?

I edit the config while the plugin wasnt running, and the world name was correctly too...
I wrote in the config, that it isn´t possible to take or set blocks except your plot and it works it isnt possible to take or set blocks in the world, but now i make a new world for farming called "farmwelt". Than i had the problem that it isnt possible to take blocks in the farming world too, then i wrote the worlds name in
exemptWorldFromProtectionOutsidePlots: farmwelt
but it still is not possible to take or build blocks in the farming world

Now Economy works, but now i protect the area around the plots, on my worlds, but my farmingworld is protected too. I still exempt the farming world but it doesnt help...
Here is my config:

No, running quite a lot of project at once doesn't make much progress with one, sadly. Been working on PlotGuardian for a while now. The only issue is how I shall structure the plugin, having all these features managed by one single plugin does require a lot of code. For later versions a good structure is required. What would you like the rent feature to do? How would you like it to function? My idea was ... You use signs to purchase time which gives you access to the plugin and when the time runs out you are not allowed to use the plot anymore. Or do I miss anything?

The current version does not support config editing while the plugin is running. This means, you'll have to shutdown the server, edit the config, save the config and then load the server back up. Reloading the config while the plugin is running is supported within the next update.
