Description:
PlotGuardian was first intended to be used on a server called ConsiliumCraft, BuilderPlot was not supporting PermissionsEx back then and the plugin appeared not to work very well for our use. As a result of this I started the development of PlotGuardian which originally implemented both WorldGuard and WorldEdit which made the plugin dependent on two other plugins and I was restricted to their code. As from version 1.5 I took a further step ahead and re-coded the whole plugin to make it completely stand-alone.
PlotGuardian protect plots which easily can be created with just one command, no need for separate worlds when you can have re-useable plots implemented into your current world. You can also create a protective plot which protects an area while users with plots inside those areas are still able to build in those.
For those of you who rule economy servers can also enable the economy feature in this plugin to allow users to buy and sell their plots using a sign. This is possible by just typing '[plot]' on the first row and the price on the second (example: '$100'). As the plot name can't be seen on the sign it must be placed in the plot to work.

Compatibility:
PlotGuardian will work just fine as long as you do not have any other plugin using the '/plugin' command, diamondselector (the diamond) or the blazerod. If you plan to use economy you must have Vault installed on your server. Vault doesn't have to be installed if economy support is not needed.

Download and installation:
All downloads for this plugin can be found in the side bar on your right hand side. After you downloaded the plugin it's highly recommended to read the 'Read Me' file provided in the .zip file. In this file you will find further information on how to get started and how to install the plugin.
If you wish to have economy enabled you may also download and install Vault. This plugin can be downloaded from here.

I use this plugin to protect players areas in the forest. I enjoy manually adding the plots, we mainly use it to protect other players villages. I'm having one problem, which is why I'm contacting you. Since we are protecting other players villages, they need to be able to add anywhere from 5-50 members. I've tried editing the config under:
Max Members Per Plot: 5
to 50, but after I reload the server it automatically resets it back to 5. I'm not sure if it is within the plugin, but it also won't let me change the max amount of plots that a player can own. I'd really appreciate if you could possibly add that to the plugin, as I love using PlotGuardian and don't want to switch.
So in short summary, please fix the config editing of max members per plot, and max plots that can be owned by a user.

Posted Oct 7, 2012@iAmokK Vault is not an economy plugin, you need an economy plugin. Vault is simply a hook between several Economy Plugins and a specific plugin.

Those two errors tell us that Vault could not be found. Please check your Vault installation and make sure it's running correctly. If you have, make sure you have an economy plugin installed as well.

I found in my Console 2 Warnings, first there is PlotGuarding - Loading Vault . . . WARNING - Could nit find any Vault dependency! WARNING - Economy hook will remain disabled!
And i make my region selections, with the diamond, then write /plot create expample 0 255, then make a sign on the plot and write first [PLOT] then 10$ (just for testing) Then the problem Economy is disabled my the admins.

I assume you get an error message which says economy is not enabled? To enable the economy with the current version you must disable the plugin, edit and save the config.yml and then enable the plugin again. The easiest way would be to shutdown the server, edit and save the config, then load the server back up. Please reply to this message if this doesn't resolve your issue.

Posted Oct 6, 2012Hello, i am from Germany and tested you plugin, but when i tried to make signs or something other to sell it, it doesnt work, i changed "useEconomy" from "false" to "true" and downloaded Vault.
But it still doesnt work.
Can you help me?

You can do so by adding a few parameters to the command. Instead of typing /plot create plot13 you could type /plot create plot13 0 255 to protect from bedrock all the way up to the highest buildable location.

ok? so when i make a selcetion all at one levle it will only protect at that levle, ok so can't u make it so that it would make that whole thing expanded top-to-bottom, would help, thx for the help :D
