Description:
PlotGuardian was first intended to be used on a server called ConsiliumCraft, BuilderPlot was not supporting PermissionsEx back then and the plugin appeared not to work very well for our use. As a result of this I started the development of PlotGuardian which originally implemented both WorldGuard and WorldEdit which made the plugin dependent on two other plugins and I was restricted to their code. As from version 1.5 I took a further step ahead and re-coded the whole plugin to make it completely stand-alone.
PlotGuardian protect plots which easily can be created with just one command, no need for separate worlds when you can have re-useable plots implemented into your current world. You can also create a protective plot which protects an area while users with plots inside those areas are still able to build in those.
For those of you who rule economy servers can also enable the economy feature in this plugin to allow users to buy and sell their plots using a sign. This is possible by just typing '[plot]' on the first row and the price on the second (example: '$100'). As the plot name can't be seen on the sign it must be placed in the plot to work.

Compatibility:
PlotGuardian will work just fine as long as you do not have any other plugin using the '/plugin' command, diamondselector (the diamond) or the blazerod. If you plan to use economy you must have Vault installed on your server. Vault doesn't have to be installed if economy support is not needed.
No plugin conflicts yet detected ...
Download and installation:
All downloads for this plugin can be found in the side bar on your right hand side. After you downloaded the plugin it's highly recommended to read the 'Read Me' file provided in the .zip file. In this file you will find further information on how to get started and how to install the plugin.
If you wish to have economy enabled you may also download and install Vault. This plugin can be downloaded from here.

The reason why a sign can't be placed by the forsale command is because it would stick out of the plot if placed at the middleposition. You have to increase the plot height or lowering the ground at that point.

Posted Oct 4, 2012when i do /plot create <name> then /plot forsale <name> <price> it tells me that "Sign can be placed... ECT." how can i gix that? i'm using fence is that the problem and would it still be forsale if i do type in the command?

Posted Oct 3, 2012@Ganaray This is a plot plugin if you want door & chest protection get LWC or Lockette or something also why do you want an unprotected plot? If you want a certain area that isn't protected.. Don't make a plot there.

Posted Oct 2, 2012@Mshax085 Yeah since plots don't have an entrance I don't think teleportation features are the best idea but it's still a good thing to have. And yeah its teleports me to the left of the plot and smack bang in the middle between 2 plots :).

Thank you :) Do you get teleported to the "middle" of one side of the plot? As the plots doesn't have any entrance I can't make it warp you to an unexisting entrance.

Posted Oct 1, 2012@Mshax085 Tested and plot rename is working fine so is teleport but depending on you create the plot as in selecting what sides it TPs me to the left of the plot and I'm not sure that's really fixable because

Some streets are like that so I don't think its possible :s to get teleported to the entrance of the plot.

There is no such feature, all plots are protected already. The only thing you have to do is to claim one and start building. The purpose of protective plots is to protect an area, not to protect existing plots. You can read more about these in the guide.

Posted Sep 29, 2012Can't seem to get it working properly.
All I wanna do is, create a plot, protect it so others cant build in that specific plot. So what I do is:
1. I select the 2 points with the diamond tool
2. I type: /plot create testplot
3. I type: /plot protect testplot 0 255
4. I type: /plot claim testplot
When i've done all that, and I try to build I keep constantly getting the message "You cannot build at this location!"
Am I missing permissions or something perhaps?

Posted Sep 26, 2012Can you make a config option to change the selection tool and the detection tool, I'd rather not have them set to those specific items, also I'd like an option to allow players to make their own protected area a specific size, possibly protected in a square around the position they're standing with a set size. It would also be amazing if you could make the creation size of the plot dependent on the player's "group" or "rank" if possible.

Either remove the ceiling while putting the plot for sale or claim the plot and then create the sign, put the plot for sale manually.

Np! When putting a plot for sale the plugin tries to generate a sign in the middle of the plot and the sign must be placed within the plot. If the ground is too high at that point you will get such error message as the sign will stick out of the plot (top). I suggest you make the plot higher.
