PlayerParticles is great to use as a VIP perk and is EULA friendly! Your players will love the amount of customization that is available for them!

The GUI provides ease-of-access for your users. Simply typing /pp will open the GUI and bring them to a menu where they can edit their particles. If you are using the plugin for a server lobby, you can bind the /pp gui command to an item using a different plugin.

The section below contains a GIF of all styles currently available in the plugin. Please note that all styles are compatible with all particle effects, meaning there are thousands of combinations. I only show one effect per style in the GIFs below. While most of the GIFs only show the particles around a player, the majority of them can also be placed around blocks.

PlayerParticles will check for an update each time your server starts. The plugin .jar will never be downloaded, OPs will get a notification in chat when they log in if an update is available. PlayerParticles will also send metrics about your server anonymously through bStats.

Update checking can be turned off by setting check-updates to false in the config.yml. Metrics can be turned off by setting send-metrics to false in the config.yml.

If a player has their particle settings (In Options > Video Settings) set to minimal they will be unable to see most particles displayed. I am unable to fix this since it is purely client side.

I will only help you with errors you are having if you are running the latest version of the plugin and are running a supported version of Minecraft!

You can currently limit the particles to specific worlds that you can specify in the config.yml file. There is not currently a feature to have them activate if the player stands still for a certain amount of time.

Since I've had at least 20 people ask me for a wings style, that will also be coming in v4.6.

Estimated release date ~~October 31st~~ is eventually. I've had a lot of school work lately.

Particles are not appearing at all around players. I haven't received any error messages. It just says that the particle was equipped but nothing actually appears. It's still a great plugin when it works! :)

Have you asked other people on the server if they can see particles? You might just have your particle settings set to Minimal in Video Settings

What server version are you running?

Use the command '/pp version' and make sure you are running v4.5.

Upcoming changes for v4.6:

Forcefully executing effects, styles, and data for players will be supported with a /pp force command

Add an optional permission for data that can be toggled on/off in the config

Add a GUI to change your effects/styles/some preset data values

Add one or two new styles

I'm agree with all players who they downloaded this amazing plugin ! I have many suggestions:

1- Can you make the command /pp effect executable by an other player or by the console ? Some of my particles are free and rest of them needs persmissions, and it will be more useful because I use Skript to manage a GUI and permission too.

2- I would like to have custom particules, when you create an effect and a style, a command can be execute to create an ID of particle for example.

3- It will be for me more handy if you add permission to custom particles.

I love this fantastic plugin and I hope you add many more styles in futures updates ! ;)

1. I will be adding a new command called /pp force in v4.6. Along with this, there will be a GUI available for you to use so you don't have to make your own. The GUI will handle permissions and only display particles/styles the user has permission for.

2 & 3. This sounds like a pretty cool feature actually. I might be thinking of this differently than you, but there could be two commands /pp save and /pp load that could save/load the particle, style, and data based on a name you give it. I'll look into this, thanks.

This is an amazing plugin! I have a couple of suggestions.

1) How about a "wings" style where it looks like there are wings behind the player made out of the particle? I know that Hypixel and Mineplex do this *I think* and I imagine that would be cool. Also, what about a "rings" style that is like two vertical hoops around the player?
2) A permission for the use of /pp data. I really want to have one of my server ranks access the note particle, but I want only a higher rank to have access to color/rainbow notes.

1). I may or may not ever add wings as a style. The math is pretty complex for them. It for sure wont be in v4.6.

2). I'll add a true/false option in the config called data-requires-permission. That way server owners can choose if they want it to be available by default or not. The permission would just be playerparticles.data if data-requires-permission is set to true. Sound good? I think so.

Bukkit will continue to be the site that the files are hosted on. I added it to Spigot so more people would be able to view the plugin.
