PlayerParticles is great to use as a VIP perk and is EULA friendly! Your players will love the amount of customization that is available for them!

The GUI provides ease-of-access for your users. Simply typing /pp will open the GUI and bring them to a menu where they can edit their particles. If you are using the plugin for a server lobby, you can bind the /pp gui command to an item using a different plugin.

The section below contains a GIF of all styles currently available in the plugin. Please note that all styles are compatible with all particle effects, meaning there are thousands of combinations. I only show one effect per style in the GIFs below. While most of the GIFs only show the particles around a player, the majority of them can also be placed around blocks.

PlayerParticles will check for an update each time your server starts. The plugin .jar will never be downloaded, OPs will get a notification in chat when they log in if an update is available. PlayerParticles will also send metrics about your server anonymously through bStats.

Update checking can be turned off by setting check-updates to false in the config.yml. Metrics can be turned off by setting send-metrics to false in the config.yml.

If a player has their particle settings (In Options > Video Settings) set to minimal they will be unable to see most particles displayed. I am unable to fix this since it is purely client side.

I will only help you with errors you are having if you are running the latest version of the plugin and are running a supported version of Minecraft!

Delete the PlayerParticles v3.6.jar file and the PlayerParticles folder from your plugins folder, download the latest version of PlayerParticles, add it to your plugins folder, then restart your server. If it still doesn't work, then I am unable to do anything to help you fix it, as it works fine for me using the last version of Spigot for 1.7.10.

v3.7 has been uploaded to BukkitDev, and it should be approved somewhat soon. You can try that version, but likely nothing will change as far as the errors go.

Yes I found what the problem is. Every time you start the plugin it clears your config.yml file. This happens because the plugin.yml file inside the .jar has the wrong version number. An update will be available as soon as possible to fix this.

I just tested the plugin in Spigot 1.7.10 (Build #1649) and it works perfectly fine with no errors.

Try deleting the effectData.yml and styleData.yml files in the PlayerParticles folder inside your Plugins folder and restarting the server.

The plugin should be working fine on that version. Try the suggestions below and see if that fixes it:

Make sure you have your particles set to all in Video Settings
Try reinstalling the plugin completely
Check if other players can see the particles
Make sure there are no errors in the console

If there are errors in the console, put it in a www.pastebin.com and reply to this comment, I will get them fixed. If you tried everything above and it still doesn't work, try going back to an older version of the plugin.

Make sure to respond so I know whether or not this is an actual problem with the plugin.

@Esophose Is this a broken plugin? installing on my server it works and all but Particles dont work it says Now using type flame particles but nothing shows up this is a 1.7.10 server With the version 3.6 But nothing is working currently Need this fixed

If it is broken in the 1.9 version then it has never worked in any of the versions. I'll take a look at that.

1.9 seems a bit broken - Once I've disabled messages from the plugin, players still seem to get them. Also, prefix isn't changing to my custom one. Any ideas?

Nice plugin!

It would be fun if this could be used with economy/Vault, so that players can have the particle effects for a limited time
(depending on how much they pay for it, and/or charge different amounts for certain effects).

Great plugin it would be alot more popular if you added some screenshots of the effects on the bukkit page and if you added a GUI.
