What is it?
PlayerLink is a simple, lightweight plugin designed to make sharing URLs related to your server easier. With the mere typing of a command, a user can instantly be given a URL to whatever you set! No longer will you have to pump a URL through an announcer plugin and no longer will you have to have the URL in the clipboard for when new players join your server. It's all there for them. Whether it be a website, voting page, Facebook page, Twitter page, YouTube account... we have you covered.
In addition to just showing the link, there is an optional feature that every time a player uses one of these commands, it will be broadcast across the chat, to let others know that the command is there for them to use. All it takes is one player to use the command, and everybody online now knows about it!

I just uploaded the latest release of the plugin! Bukkit should have it approved soon, so stay on the lookout for a cooldown timer for the broadcasting messages!
PlayerLink is in Maintenance Status, which means I will mainly be updating the plugin only to keep it updated instead of adding new features; however, I will still take suggestions.

I can promise you it is the next thing on my list! I am planning to get cracking on it once I'm finished with midterms. Once I am off for the month, it is on my priority list. I am off for the holiday in about eight days from now, so I will begin working on it then.

Right – that would be in my plans for development. The part of customizable interval should be the easy part, actually.

The great thing about this plugin is that it is very lightweight and everything in the 1.7 update is mostly irrelevant to the stability of the plugin. You should be 100% to use it, although some further testing is needed before I mark it as an officially 1.7-supported build.

The /donate command can just be combined with the /shop command. They basically offer the same thing, so adding in a /donate would be redundant, I would think.
And for /download, I am not sure if that command would be used much. It is for reasons like this that I included the /link command, so that you can define your own custom link. :) Try using this and you should get the same result.

Hey Cptn, thanks for the kind words. It makes it all worth it when I hear someone loves my plugin.
For the "Forums" link, do you think you could just use the "/website" or "/link" command for this? If you use the "/link" command, you can change it to display "Forums" when the message is displayed.
So, you mean so that you can edit the message that pops up every time you type a command? That would be totally doable. Please make a ticket for that suggestion by going HERE and I will begin working on it soon.

Hey minecraftman, that's an interesting idea, but wouldn't you agree that it would be easier to use a broadcasting plugin for accomplishing this? I feel like many of the people who would be using this plugin might have interference with a broadcasting plugin they have installed already. Scheduled Announcer is a good one if you're plugin hunting!
