PlayerLauncher

PlayerLauncher allows players to jump huge distances without fear of fall damage.
Features
- Launch yourself and other players.
- Set specific launch pads at specific locations where players with appropriate permissions can launch.
- Specify a specific launch delay as well as items required to launch.
- Useful for many things such as:
- PvP / Raiding: Helpful for evading foes, scaling obstacles, or finding bases.
- Mining: Traversing Ravines, jumping out of lava, etc.

Auto-Updating
This plugin utilises an AutoUpdater to notify you when new updates are available. This plugin makes no attempt to automatically install the update for you, but simply notifies all players with PlayerLauncher.admin about future updates. You can disable this by setting 'Launch.Update-Notifications' to false in the config.yml
Metrics
PlayerLauncher makes use of Hidendras plugin metrics system, which means the following information is sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The Java version your server is running
- Whether your server is running online or offline mode.
- The version of the plugin you are using.
- Your server version
- OS version/name along with it's architecture
- CPU Core count
- Number of players online
- Metrics version
Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

That is a very strange issue! Without an error log or a detailed description of the problem I can't help you directly, but here are two different solutions that should help!
1. You can copy a version of the config.yml here and manually create it: https://github.com/AoHRuthless/PlayerLauncher/blob/PlayerLauncher/config.yml
2. You can delete your plugin and reinstall completely

This is your mostly your fault that you did not take precautionary measures in limiting the boom command. In the documentation for all commands and permissions as well as the help command, It is said that an explosion is created.
I can look into adding support for other region-management plugins, however.

Posted Jun 19, 2014PlayerLauncher v1.4.6 has been released! This file is currently awaiting approval from BukkitDev.
Some notable changes:
- Increased config variability. You can define several launch sounds separated by commas, and materials are for the most part, not case sensitive.
- Added permissions to break and set launch pads as part of PlayerLauncher.admin
- Cleaned up code to fix some bugs and alleviate minor performance leaks.

You can use every sound supported in the Bukkit Sound enum.
You can view the 1.6.4 (Recommend Build 2.0) bukkit sounds here. They should not have truly changed much in the transition of 1.6.4 to 1.7.X.
The PlayerLauncher configuration allows you to use any case you wish (Meaning it doesn't have to be all caps).

That plugin is not related to PlayerLauncher. I do not know what you want me to do about it: 'Launcher' isn't my plugin, nor are there any permissions labelled 'rsl'. Also, bug reports do not go here.

My reasoning for not having this is because this noise would be spammed incessantly. A PlayerMoveEvent is triggered at any movement, including a change of yaw or pitch. What this means is while standing on, in your example, a gold block, about 10-20 fireworks could be launched.

Posted Feb 12, 2014When you walk over a lauch pad the fire work and explosion wont work they only work for /L so can you add fire work and explosion with noise to work when just walking over a lauch pad.

I suspect you're giving yourself 'playerlauncher.*' but you SHOULD give yourself 'PlayerLauncher.*' NOTE: the case change of the 'p' and the 'l'.

Posted Feb 6, 2014Dude the permissions are messed up. I am op and certainly i know what i'm doing. I gave permission to myself even when i'm op and I still can't use any of the "op permission" commands.
It just says "[PlayerLauncher] You do not have permission to use this command."

You can add sounds yourself in the config. By default, the explode sound is used (Sound triggered when TNT explodes).
Edit: As for the fall damage issue, I have not experienced any issues. Create a detailed bug report here, with steps to reproduce the problem.

Posted Feb 3, 2014when i get launched i dont take anyfall damage but for some reason after i land if i where to jump of something the fall damage protection is still there can you fix that and can you add a tnt sound when you get launched.
