Pixelator
Brief description
Pixelator allows you to put an image from a file or an url onto a map and share it with other players or put them in item frames as a kind of showcase!
Features
- You can create an infinite amount of image maps
- Renderers are saved to file when the plugin disables and will be loaded from it on startup (the file will be deleted after this process)
- Images are rendered instantly onto maps, no ghosting bars
- Image maps can be put in item frames so everyone can see them
- You can display a list of all active image maps with some details
- Doesn't lag the server due to the use of a new thread for loading/rendering the images
- Easy usage
- Detailed help pages
All listed features above are always referring to the newest version of Pixelator!
Commands & Permissions
| Command | Description | Permissions |
| /pixel create <source> | Creates a new image map | Pixelator.create |
| /pixel give <id> | Gives you the desired image map | Pixelator.give |
| /pixel remove <id> | Removes an image map | Pixelator.remove |
| /pixel list | Shows a list of available image maps | Pixelator.list |
| /pixel reload | Reloads the whole plugin | Pixelator.reload |
| /pixel help [page] | Shows the help pages | None |
| - | All Pixelator permissions | Pixelator.* |
<source> can either be an url or a path to a file. Please note that if you want to load something from file you start in the server's folder! (Examples: /pixel create Test.jpg attempts to load the file Test.jpg from the server's folder - /pixel create plugins/Pixelator/Test.jpg attempts to load the file Test.jpg from the Pixelator folder)

Posted May 14, 2013All my maps reset that were on the walls, now if i put any new ones back on walls only I can see it again.
People that have held the map can see it but other players just see a blank map.
Before to fix this you would place them in survival mode, this doesn't seem to be fixing the problem anymore. Please help me

This issue is really hard to fix :/ Almost tried about 6 hours to fix it but I can't figure out what I could do to make it work, but I don't give up. Hopefully I'll find a solution soon!

High res pictures are not possible in minecraft, because the pictures have to be resized to fit into the map and minecraft doesn't support all colors on maps :/

Posted Mar 22, 2013@versamaz - that's because the images loaded depend on the colours/hues of the first image. Minecraft has somewhat limited colours and it can only render what's in that database.
@OcelotsDigital - That's the same issue that I'm having
@DarkBladee12 - Do you have any intentions to opensource this project? I'd love to work on it.

Posted Mar 18, 2013Hello,
I've noticed that it loads the first picture fine, calls it "0.jpg" with the id "0", but the next picture also comes out as "0.jpg" with id "0" and ends up removing the first picture and not loading the second. The "maps" config thus looks like this after two /px creates
Maps:
- 0, 0.jpg
- 0, 0.jpg
Any idea why?
I'm on the latest build of 1.5
