PistonCrusher
PistonCrusher
I have not started updating this plugin for 1.4.7 yet
You can try this plugin from Snnappie (in comments) http://dev.bukkit.org/media/attachments/36/427/BlockCrusher.jar
Mirror/Source
The newest download mirror, source, and detailed info will be on my site here.
- ver: 1.0.0
- Tested on CraftBukkit 1.2.5-R3.0
- Crushes blocks so that you can pick them up
- Fully configurable for every block type you want, or don't want to crush.
- Uses the MekChest piston code so that pistons can be right next to the block they are pushing/crushing
This plugin allows you to crush blocks between an obsidian block and a regular piston. When activated the piston will 'crush' the block between it and the obsidian, and the crushed block will drop its normal drops (eg; the block itself, or snowballs if the block was snow, etc.). The piston, the block to crush, and the obsidian all need to be right next to each other with the piston facing the appropriate direction.
Install Instructions
Copy PistonCrusher.jar into your 'plugins/' directory
Configuration
After launching the first time PistonCrusher will copy the default config.yml into the plugin/PistonCrusher directory. Add or remove block typeIds to the noncrushableblocks list to disallow them from being crushed.
LWC is supported for checking if a chest is public before it is crushed (note: chests are non-crushable by default). To enable LWC set lwc to true in the config.

Posted Mar 1, 2013I had essentially an older version of this from a different author and the source code. I updated it for 1.4.7, if anyone wants it. Edit: here is the original thread for the mod. -Snnappie

Posted Feb 16, 2013Is there any chance of this being updated? It no longer works with CB1.4.7.

Posted Aug 18, 2012Would this be updated for 1.3.2? I love this ability but sadly there have only been two plugins that do this including yours and both are out-of-date.

Posted Jul 22, 2012Would it be possible to add in a toggleable option to this for grinding? i.e. If set to "true" it would "crush" the block into smaller pieces instead of just creating the itemised form. So:
if you wanted to go overboard you could make it mulch organics too:

Posted Jun 10, 2012Do you think you could add more functionality to this plugin to make it like the old "Block Crusher" plugin? With BC, you could arrange two pistons in an L shape with two obsidian blocks and crush 3 blocks into 1 new type of block (ex. 3 sand into one sandstone), and other combinations configurable via a yml file.
You could also crush single blocks and get different blocks/items based on settings in a yml file (ex. crush iron ore and get iron.)
