Bombercraft+

Have you ever played bomberman on the computer? Well now its for minecraft!

ABOUT: I recreated this plugin from an OLD plugin that was last made for 1.0.0 with upgrades! It took a few weeks buts here it is!

OBJECTIVE IN GAME:

You start out with 3 lifes in a randomly generated arena (marked as hearts in your health bar) and you place tnt and avoid the flames to destroy the surrounding dirt or players. When and if the dirt is destroyed by the TNT a random drop will appear. Some are good and some are bad.

INSTALLATION

Download latest version of Bombercraft+ to your right!
Stop your server
Place it into your plugins folder
Start your server
If your op you can then make your arena!

COMMANDS

ADMINS/OPS:

/bc create <X> <Y>
/bc create <X> <Y> force
/bc clear <id>
/bc edit <id>
/bc start <id>
/bc stop <id>

PLAYERS:

/bc join
/bc leave
/bc start

PERMS:

    bombercraft.admin.create - /bombercraft create
    bombercraft.admin.forcecreate - /bombercraft create X Y force
    bombercraft.admin.clear - /bombercraft clear
    bombercraft.admin.start - /bombercraft start <ID>
    bombercraft.admin.stop - /bombercraft stop
    bombercraft.admin.edit - /bombercraft edit and /bombercraft config


    bombercraft.play.join - /bombercraft join
    bombercraft.play.leave - /bombercraft leave
    bombercraft.play.start - /bombercraft start (When you in a game)
    bombercraft.allowcommand.XXX - usage of XXX command in the arena

If you want to edit settings of your arena(s) in-game then use the /bc edit <ID> command to edit them. From there you can edit different aspects of the arena from the amount of players needed to start as game to adding lights to the top of the pillars.

Buffs and Debuffs ingame:

APPLE = 1+ Life
BONE = negative potion effect to self
Redstone = 1+ distance to fire
Redstone torch = Delayed explosion or click on tnt to cause explosion
TNT = 1+ TNT
Iron Boots = RUN FAST

Arenas are protected by default so you don't have to worry about griefing!

The 2 stone blocks are just a place holder for something that might come. The have no purpose in-game. And did you download the 1.6 updated version I uploaded yesterday?

I told what my issue is, ender eyes arent causing negative effects, you just pick them up. Dirt blocks can be punched and broken, you don't automatically switch to tnt in your hotbar so you can place the 2 stone blocks (not sure if this is supposed to happen)

Are they exploding? If not you need to make a region around the arena and set the allow-TNT flag. If you have essentials and world guard you need to:

Disable Essentials tnt protection in there config.
Disable World Guard tnt protection in there config.
Restart/start your server and go into the world/worlds you want to have tnt disabled and type - /rg flag global tnt DENY
Get your world edit tool out (usually wood axe) and select the top corner of the arena and the bottom corner of the arena on the opposite side.

Then type - /rg define arenaName
Then type - /rg flag arenaName tnt allow

Of course you can replace "arenaName" with what ever you want as long as there the same in both commands. This should also work with multiple arenas. You just need to use different names.

Things to know:

If the TNT still doesn't work make sure that you don't have another protection plugin and make sure essentials or world-guard doesn't block TNT explosion or block TNT ignition or anything similar to that. Let me know if you can get it to work. If not please give me a list of all your plugins and I will test it on my end and give you instructions for your layout for it to work.

doesn't seem to be working in 1.6.1, please update :)

dirt can be broken, ender eyes are picked up and don't cause negative effects

When I'm in edit mode my client keeps moving it back to SLOT 1 in the HotBar. Why? It don't do it outside of the arena. I can't edit the arena...

What do eyes of ender and stone do? It doesn't say in the plugin description. Also, I'll be sending you the server IP when we get it online (our goal is to by mid-June).

EDIT: I need to know do I can complete the toutorial

The fix i found is to just do a /reload after a server restarts. I am going to add a fix for this in the next update. :)

Hi Reiko, you need to create the arena first with /bc create 30 30, then if that's the first arena you've made, you would join with /bc join 1

Note, if you're using CraftBukkit 1.5.2 this may not work until updated. Hope that helps:)

Hi,
Every time I use /bombercraft join 30x30 PUBLIC, It says internal error occurred. What could be wrong? :( I don't have any other plugins that conflict with bc+
