PhysicsMe
Physics Me
This plugin allows a server admin to customize blocks that fall to the ground, like sand and gravel... Using a easy config file.
Features:
- Add blocks that can fall like sand and gravel.
Currently very simple, but very powerful.
Example config:
blocks: #List of all the blocks. - '30' #The block ID of cobweb. - '88' #The block ID of Soul Sand #To include data values use - 'ID:DATA'

Posted Oct 10, 2013Nice. Although the glitch where when you place a gravity affected block in mid air and it goes back into your inventory while still being in the world (thus block duplication) after right clicking on air or placing another block in air is rather annoying. :/

I had tried to do that feature once, I gave up after failing a few times. I may try again, as it was a year ago when I failed.

The plugin doesn't need to be updated, and probably will never need to be updated.

Because PhysicsMe was a quick experiment that someone asked me to release. If I spend that much time on something, I'd add it to craftbooks BetterPhysics feature. If you don't want the rest of craftbook just disable it all. But I doubt I'll have the feature any time soon.

That would require adding a complete structural integrity engine. I don't have the time to do that.
@FlOppythp
I don't think I am going to do it, if I do randomly do it, it'll go in craftbook.
@FlOppythp
Its not really that simple, there are other calculations needed to be made.

Hmm... So like a structural integrity and stress calculation system? May be quite complicated but I'd probably be able to do it. The issue is I wanted this plugin to be quite simple.. If I add that sort of feature, I'd most likely add it to CraftBook's BetterPhysics instead of this.

All those suggestions aren't possible or plausible with the way minecraft physics work.

That's not really avoidable. The same thing happens with sand and gravel.

I'll look into it, but PhysicsMe doesn't modify anything like that.. So it can't cause extra blocks. You may have another plugin interfering.
@hi11279
Yeah, I'll add MultiWorld support.
Edit: I just released 1.2, which adds a whole lot of features.. And I looked into the dupe issue and I can't reproduce it with JUST PhysicsMe, it is another plugin that is causing it.

Posted Jun 26, 2013Can you make it so that you can customize it for only certain world? Like for example, physics would apply for all worlds except my server's pvp world.

With the multiple blocks, the plugin doesn't modify block breaks... Most likely there were other items around, and when it broke it stacked the items together.
Due to the way minecraft physics work, I would never recommend using a block like stone in this plugin... Best to only use player-made blocks, due to the fact it'll mess up the generation.

I've already uploaded a fixed version, it should be available in a few hours.
