Tutorial

Enchanting, the long form

First of all, there are 2 possibilities: You have the permission to enchant for free or not.
If not, you will be asked to confirm a purchase to prevent the purchase of something you don't like or want.
Examples in this tutorial show the output if you can't enchant for free.
A look at the parameters page is recommended.

1.Selecting the enchantment

If you have something to enchant, simply type
/pxp ls
A list of compatible and applicable enchantments will be displayed, if there are no enchantments applicable, you will be informed about that.
If there are applicable enchantments, the list will look like this:
{Enchantment name}[{List of levels}]
{Short description}
Here is an example:
/pxp ls
Now that you have chosen an enchantment, you have two opportunities:

  1. Select the enchantment and get information
    • Simply type /pxp [Enchantment]
  2. Select the enchantment and the desired level
    • Simply type /pxp [Enchantment] [Level]
    • If you do this, continue to step 3
  • You can type the enchantment name with or without spaces, it does not matter.
  • Long enchantment name can be abbreviated, as said above, i recommend a look at the parameters page.

For our example, i have selected the first opportunity and used /pxp silk touch to get information about the last enchantment in the list above, "Silk touch":
/pxp silk touch
Here you see a longer description as well as the cost for each level.
And, because the enchantment "Silk touch" can still be applied to my item, it will display me the text at the bottom.
More info on this in the next step.
Now go on to step 2.

2.Selecting the level

If you already have selected a level by using the second opportunity, continue to Step 3. If not you will see the costs for each level and, if the enchantment can be applied to your item the following text:
This enchantment can be applied to your current item.
Use /pxp [Level] to enchant it.
Now, why don't you go ahead and to so? Here is an example:
In my case, the enchantment i want, "Silk touch" has a maximum level of 1.
Because of that, i have no choice but to select level '1'.
I type /pxp 1 and this should happen:
/pxp 1
Now continue to step 3.

3.Confirming the purchase

Now that you have selected an enchantment and a level, you will be asked to confirm. Or you have the permission to enchant for free and the enchantment will be applied immediately.
So, you can now accept or decline the purchase.

  • To decline:
    • Type /pxp no
  • To accept:
    • Type /pxp yes

I want this enchantment so i type /pxp yes and this happens:
/pxp y
And now i have a diamond shovel with "Silk touch" at level 1.
