Pearl Portals

What can this plugin do?
This plugin is about mini teleports, which are ender portal frame blocks. You will be able to craft a portal, and connect it to another. So if you want to teleport, just stand on it and whoop, you teleported. But this plugin is much more advanced than you first look. There is a really detailed customisation behind all portals: allowed a player to use it or not? Even link his portal to it? Even can delete the portal? It's all about what access you set to your portal. You imagined a portal which requires a material to work, gunpowder for example? Its possible, set your own "fuel" to the portals. Do you want to check requirements when a player want to travel with that portal? What do you think of... a level of experience points? A permission node? All of it possible to check. This plugin has so many things you can customize, long to even summary all of them. You are (will be) able to even make a harry potter fireplace which teleports you with the special dust! All of it depends on your fantasy! But if you don't find the way to use it as you want, tell me your idea and I try to make it the part of the plugin (i'm trying to get the plugin to do the basic funtions now, but you can tell me your ideas to make them later).
(signs: working, test phase, under development, planned feature)
You can customize:
For portals themselves:
Read the detailed page about portal settings here: http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/pearl-portals/pages/functions/
- Destination (of course)
- Accesses "table" for players
- Any type of fuel/fee of teleportation, items or money
- Requirements to use that portal
- Can use electricity to work
- Disguise: place a block over it to cover, and that block will transfer the actions to the portals under it
(so the block over the portal functions like the portal under it)
For worlds:
- Travel between worlds accesses (which worlds are connected for travel and what type of connection is it)
Managing:
- All informations shown is calculated from accesses, so a player with no access will have no informations about he mustn't know
- Really detailed error description, when something went wrong (when example bad command syntax)
Far planned features:
- Enchant Tables function as teleport books (only which one you wan')
- Create own magical dust for portal

Posted Jun 20, 2015This plugin is definitely dying right now. With 2 downloads I can't be really proud for a more than a year old project :D I developed so many things since then... and had a look at this one. Instead of starting hacking on it to make it fully working and complete I started to rewrite its whole code from zero with my new knownledge. The code will be better as well as the plugin itself. Last night I spent 4 hours of coding and wrote the plugin from zero to the level that I can register portals, and the player-aura buffer is working (which will keep memory and processor needs low). It seems working really good, so as soon as I updated my other plugins I will complete this one too. This is one of the most fancy plugins of mine, as for visuals for players, so one of my liked projects, I won't abadon it.

Posted Nov 13, 2013Good news! It was a long break, but after it i started to develop this plugin again! So people who interested in this plugin, i tell you: it will be finished. I keep the original functions, everything will be the same as planned before. I write some more code and in the near future the first well-working version will be uploaded and this plugin get into the Beta stage. So it's coming!
