PartlyFancy brings a new way of cosmetics to your server. It will offer particle effects (special and generic), gadgets, fancy pets, and a wardrobe (including special abilities).

Is PartlyFancy not compatible with 1.8.1? From what I am aware, it has been tested on 1.8.8 which in theory, means it should work for 1.8.1. If it doesn't I will be happy to make multi-version support.

In the newest version '/fancy reload' resets all the variables on command. Consider updating for the changes to be added.

Posted Feb 1, 2016I set 'fancyitem: false' and it worked after a server restart, but before the restart I tried to use '/fancy reload' and using plugman to forcibly reload it, and it still returned, only the server restart fixed it. I suggest you look into making sure it sees that line in the config upon reload.

In the config there is an option 'fancyitem'. Setting that to false will disabled the fancy item from spawning in players inventories. Till this fixes you have been added disabled that item from being used.

Posted Jan 29, 2016I was testing the plugin for usage for donator ranks on my server, and noticed that the fancy item, given by '/fancy item', refuses to be dropped. If I hit Q, nothing happens. If I open my inventory and drag it out, it reappears somewhere on my hotbar.
If I try to use the nether star fancy item, it CAN be used in crafting. So if that's what you were trying to prevent by stopping the netherstar from leaving inventory, it isn't working. I also note that I was able to put it inside of a chest, furnace and anvil. If I use the anvil with it, the item teleports to my hotbar.
The reason why this is a problem is, as far as I can find, there is no way to remove the item. '/fancy item' does not take the item away, so I have to use some annoying methods to get rid of it. And sometimes after I've gotten rid of it, after a few seconds/minutes, it teleports back to my hotbar anyway.
It should also be noted that this survives between server restarts, as in, I throw it away, reboot server, come back on, and its now on my hotbar.
You need to add a way to remove the item permanently, and also please add a permission node for spawning in the item, so I can disable it. I also suggest setting it to a different, less valuable item, one that can't be used in the crafting of anything, like a wooden hoe.
