Description
- Using this plugin you can allow your users to obtain new ranks by paying configurable amounts of in-game money. You can have as many groups as you wish and set a price that is different for each of them. It is as easy as adding your groups to the lists in the configuration file and restarting your server. Please make sure you read the commented section of the config file as it contains important information about setting up the file. Enjoy :-)
How to Install
- Download the latest PaidRanks.jar and add it to your plugins file on your server.
- Start the server!
- Go to your config.yml under the /Plugins/PaidRanks
- Decide whether or not you want your ranks to be global
- Now go to the language file and decide if you want to change anything. If not your all set.
- Go in-game and follow the commands!

That's not what I want. Donators need to be able to play as and switch ranks as normal players, but they just need to have that one more Donators group. In 1.3 I think it worked just fine, Donator group didn't change and normal groups changed then they rankedup, but starting with 1.5 it stopped working...

Posted Jan 3, 2013i found out that the demotion is caused by them not having enough money and doing rankup it takes money and then keeps them at the rank

Posted Jan 3, 2013Hello, I have an issue. Plugin works fine for users who have one group in pex, but donators (which have 2 group (normal group and donator group) can't seem to be able to rankup. They are getting this message: You are at the highest possible paid rank!

They need to be able to keep donator rank then ranking, but change their normal group. So for ex. by default they have Powerless and Donator groups and after their first rankup they should have I and Donator groups. How can I make this happen?

i did but its still demoting people or keeping them at the rank
its essentially add them into the rankup group and the previous one so there in 2 groups in PEX and it just chooses one!

You guys need to add the starting rank to the grouplist or ladder what ever your using. Like lets say default and admin and ceo are the groups. To start it the starting rank has to be default with the price of 0. and admin then ceo. example
grouplist: - default - admin - ceo
prices: default: 0 admin: 200 ceo: 327
and so on but the starting rank has to be default or what ever rank you want it to start on

Yeah Same Problem. but when im op and at the lowest rank, and use /rankup it says "your at the highest rank" when im currently not ? :(

Posted Jan 2, 2013I have everything set up and it works fine but regular players cannot use /rankup.
When op it works fine but when not op it says you do not have permission.
All ranks have permisison for paidranks.nonladder so I do not know why they don't have permission.

Also now it is still demoting people and when i look at permissions it shows that the player was in the group they were in before raking up AND the one after /rank up so its putting them in 2 groups

Posted Jan 1, 2013Its updated to 1.4.6.. can u reply on what im doing wrong. im putting all the rank names in order -Tribute (default) -Citizen -Member -etc.... i put myself to tribute rank. i type /rankup and it says "your at the highest rank" blabla.. Am i doing this wrong. im familiar with this plugin as ive used it multiple times.

Posted Jan 1, 2013the rank you want the ladder to start at you have to put that rank down also. for example you have default and elite and superior you cant do this
nameOfLadder: - elite - superior
you have to do
nameOfLadder: - default - elite - superior
so this says the ladder will start at default. So the required rank in order to start the ladder is default.

Posted Dec 31, 2012Hey everyone, I just installed the new 1.7 and for some reason when I use /rankup <ladder> it says that I am already the highest possible paid rank when i'm not. Any advice on how to fix it would be appreciated. Also i'm using PEX.
