OtherDrops allows you to add anything from a simple "glass drops glass" or mob rewards, to a complex overhaul of your servers drops with drops differing depending on tools, biome, time, weather and much more, along with custom messages, actions and commands.
OtherDrops is lightweight* (it only acts on what you configure) and respects most protection plugins (eg. WorldGuard, Regios) settings. Many examples are included that you can enable and/or customize as you wish.

- Custom names, HP (health) & equipment for any mob

- Villager professions, villager zombies, powered creepers & agressive level for pig-zombies

Conditions
- Multi-world support - create separate files to handle each world
- Add super rare drops with chance values down to 0.000000001%
- Specify tools required (or a list of tools eg. [any sword, -diamond sword])
- Lorename, Heroes (class & level) conditions
- Cooldowns
Actions
- Apply actions alongside the drop (or even without a drop)
- Damage tools and/or consume items (eg. use dyes to color wool)
- Damage or heal the victim, player or even the whole world
- Apply potion effects to the victim, player, radius, world or server
- Display custom messages (or a list of messages with one selected at random)
- Create explosions, lightning, visual effects (including particles), sound effects
- Run commands
Ideas
- Give leaves various chances of dropping apples, sticks, cocoa beans, saplings, etc on break and/or leaf decay.
- Make glass, stairs, and boats reclaimable (can be tool-specific if you wish).
- Allow gold and iron to be mined directly into ingots with a golden pickaxe.
- Allow users to right-click on cobblestone with vines in hand to turn the cobblestone mossy.
- Nerf mob traps by disabling drops from environmental damage.
- Unleash the zombie apocalypse by setting zombies to drop zombies when they die! (This can be world-specific.)
- Make mobs that don't normally spawn naturally spawn.
- Make mob spawning, drops, and events biome specific!

Dev Builds
Development builds of this project can be acquired at the provided continuous integration server. These builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Use them at your own risk.
Help Wanted
Would you like to help improve OtherDrops? Here are some ways to get involved:
- Media/art: OtherDrops could really do with some tutorial and example videos.
- Testers: Testers who are able to go through the plugin and rigorously check that things (both existing and new features) work as they should. PM Zarius your Skype (or other IM) details if you're interested or jump on the IRC channel.
- Programming: any assistance is welcomed - see the todo list here for some ideas. Anyone with refactoring and/or automated testing experience that wants to assist would be great.

You can improve the durability of a weapons without enchantement : Just use the " fixtool: " function. To make a pickaxe indestructible, you can set a "fixtool: 1" with BREAK as trigger and ANY_PICKAXE as tool. Otherwise, you can do the same but with the chance function, so you can moderate its reparation. The original enchantment use the same system. :)

Posted Aug 2, 2014I use this plugin for my prison server to create fortune on blocks and to auto smelt iron and gold.
It works fine although it seems to break durability on all picks. For example players could have unbreaking 100 and their pick would break in a couple minutes.
Is there a way to fix this?

Hi. drop: DENY appears to have no effect on PLAYER. What does this mean: "players will not metro any items"?
In order for this plugin to be useful for me, it is necessary that players do not drop their inventory for anyone to pick up.
I would also like to request an additional MONEY option. I want players to drop a fixed ammount of money, but at the same time I want the dead player to have their money zeroed. That is to say, I want the money given to the victor to be a value independent of the money subtracted from the dead player's account.

Posted Jul 28, 2014Hi, I've so many bugs with this plugin, could a mod help me please ? Those are :
All custom name are displayed in Caps. (so it's impossible to use color, because it would be &R instead of &r for example).
- drop: 397@2!OgrinHead/1/100% Items with metadata won't be named in game.
- drop: 295@!GrassSeeds/5-20/25% return only one named seed 'GrassSeed' and the others are simple seeds.
If we want multiple drop (in brackets [] ) it's impossible to put an item with a custom name which contains spaces.
SPIDERTest - drop : 263 The plugin doesn't care about the mob name, so even if the spider is called "Test", the custom drop won't work.

Posted Jul 28, 2014Alright, so I've been messing around with this for a while now and can't seem to figure the one thing I really need doing. Could someone help me out and tell/show me how to make certain drops only happen in one world? I'm developing a prison server and want to make stone drop stone in the world with the mines, but if placed and then broken in the plot/shop world, it drops cobblestone as normal. Please help!

I think using drop: DENY (on PLAYER) should work, be aware that players will not keep any items.

Hmm .. okay so I need to use an existant item. I didn't use "COAL_ORE" for the drop but only as target for the event. For the drop it was INK_SACK@23, which seem to take the last name of the real item which is "Bone Meal" as priority (@15). So I need to find an "almost" unused item as a reference for my new ores, otherwise the players should craft existant items with it (considering the custom item will refer as the original item). Thank you anyway. :) I'll retry and edit my post.
EDIT : I used Flint as custom item :
And it still show me the name "COBALT" in caps ... what version of Bukkit are you using ?

Lol you are ahead of me in that aspect. I tried to recreate your problem but I couldn't even get the name to show up at all :P So much for help... You're gonna need CommodoreAlpha or another mod to answer that question sorry.
EDIT: I did manage to recreate your example using STONE instead of COAL_ORE.
STONE: - drop: STONE@!Cobalt
This worked fine. It gave me a stone block named "Cobalt" (in lower case, not caps)
