OtherDrops

Make anything drop anything, anyhow!
Minecraft 1.7 features (click)!!
OtherDrops allows you to add anything from a simple "glass drops glass" or mob rewards, to a complex overhaul of your servers drops with drops differing depending on tools, biome, time, weather and much more, along with custom messages, actions and commands.
OtherDrops is lightweight* (it only acts on what you configure) and respects most protection plugins (eg. WorldGuard, Regios) settings. Many examples are included that you can enable and/or customize as you wish.

Help Wanted
Would you like to help improve OtherDrops? Here are some ways to get involved:
- Media/art: OtherDrops could really do with some tutorial and example videos.
- Testers: Testers who are able to go through the plugin and rigorously check that things (both existing and new features) work as they should. PM Zarius your Skype (or other IM) details if you're interested or jump on the IRC channel.
- Programming: any assistance is welcomed - see the todo list here for some ideas. Anyone with refactoring and/or automated testing experience that wants to assist would be great.
Thanks
Many thanks to these people who helped with OtherDrops:
- Cyklo: creator of the original OtherBlocks. OtherDrops is a continuation of Cyklo's original OtherBlocks (2011) plugin.
- Celtic Minstrel: many code commits and a major overhaul of the code moving into version 2.0. Moved on to create DropFactory.
- Rofang: major update of OtherDrops documentation.
- RugRats13: lots of testing and some documentation.
- Faldonboy & Steelsouls: currently maintaining and improving the documentation.
- CommodoreAlpha: community support on the comments/forum, assisting with documentation.
Many long nights are spent improving OtherDrops so if you like it please consider a donation to my coffee fund :)
- OtherDrops uses Metrics for anonymous usage stats (learn more).

Posted Sep 9, 2014Is there a way to make enderdragons not drop experience orbs ? 12.000 experience points is a bit too much for what i intend on using dragons for, however any workaround I have tried so far has failed ... tips ?
Update: I disabled it using an external plugin, so problem solved, however it would be better with less plugins :)

Posted Sep 6, 2014Hi,
To avoid mob farming, it would be nice to add a parameters "timelimit".
Example :
CREATURE_HOSTILE: - tool: ALL drop: NOTHING time limit: 40
If any hostile creature would be killed by any tools in a time limit of 40 tick (2seconds), it would drop nothing.
Pray for it :)

Posted Sep 3, 2014Hi. First, I would like to say I love this plugin. However, I am trying to use LootCrates with it and am struggling to get it to work correctly. I can get it to drop vanilla Ender Chests. but the NoLock crates won't work. I feel it's something small and stupid I am doing wrong, but can't figure it out. Any pointers toward the right direction would be appreciated.

Posted Sep 1, 2014Hey there. I'm trying to incorporate Loot Box Into this plugin, but whenever I try to create a lore for the item it comes out like this: http://i.imgur.com/GLxCObj.png. Here's a link to my config file: http://pastebin.com/hYbtbt33. The Loot Box creator says it should work just fine, but it still combines the Name and the lore together as the name. Please help!

Not that I know of - the only work-around I know is to send a command to the console which will give the player the item (e.g. /give <player> <item id> <amount> if using Essentials).

Posted Aug 7, 2014Is it currently possible to make a lore text condition? I want to have effects trigger on a "class" or sword, where there would be a lore that says type: Curved Sword or something and I would be able to have the effect trigger on any item with that line in the lore? If this is not possible, would it be possible to add this feature?
