OtherDrops

Make anything drop anything, anyhow!
Minecraft 1.7 features (click)!!
OtherDrops allows you to add anything from a simple "glass drops glass" or mob rewards, to a complex overhaul of your servers drops with drops differing depending on tools, biome, time, weather and much more, along with custom messages, actions and commands.
OtherDrops is lightweight* (it only acts on what you configure) and respects most protection plugins (eg. WorldGuard, Regios) settings. Many examples are included that you can enable and/or customize as you wish.

Help Wanted
Would you like to help improve OtherDrops? Here are some ways to get involved:
- Media/art: OtherDrops could really do with some tutorial and example videos.
- Testers: Testers who are able to go through the plugin and rigorously check that things (both existing and new features) work as they should. PM Zarius your Skype (or other IM) details if you're interested or jump on the IRC channel.
- Programming: any assistance is welcomed - see the todo list here for some ideas. Anyone with refactoring and/or automated testing experience that wants to assist would be great.
Thanks
Many thanks to these people who helped with OtherDrops:
- Cyklo: creator of the original OtherBlocks. OtherDrops is a continuation of Cyklo's original OtherBlocks (2011) plugin.
- Celtic Minstrel: many code commits and a major overhaul of the code moving into version 2.0. Moved on to create DropFactory.
- Rofang: major update of OtherDrops documentation.
- RugRats13: lots of testing and some documentation.
- Faldonboy & Steelsouls: currently maintaining and improving the documentation.
- CommodoreAlpha: community support on the comments/forum, assisting with documentation.
Many long nights are spent improving OtherDrops so if you like it please consider a donation to my coffee fund :)
- OtherDrops uses Metrics for anonymous usage stats (learn more).

Sure, jump on the irc channel if you want - easier to chat :)
I'm currently tried to wrap my head around how to make a creeper spawn on top of an invisible speeding bat :D (without breaking the server by having creepers spawning creepers recursively...)

I've hesitated to do that in the past as I think it'll put a reliance on internal minecraft code that may require OtherDrops to break for each new version of Bukkit.
just thinking though, I might be able to split that code off into a separate extension plugin. Will look into that.

I didn't get to checking out leaf_decay or the formatting on lorename for SteelSouls but I did add support for AgeableData (baby/adult) to all Ageable mobs (cow, sheep, pig, etc) and equipment & maxhealth support to all LivableEntities (basically all mobs).
Yes, a diamond_helmet on a sheep works, just can't see it :) Not sure about a diamond sword...
I also added a "/od drop" command (alias /odd) that can drop any item/mob including data at the point you're looking at - eg. /odd zombie@baby, /odd skeleton@wither!!eq:head:diamond_helmet or /odd wool@red/20/50% (50% chance of 20 red wool dropping).

No, didn't seem to be you :) I've fixed it anyway - linked to a page on BukkitDev which describes the bug report template and then provides a link to GitHub.
If GitHub had a feature for setting a template on the bug report I'd use that, but unfortunately they dont seem to.

Thanks for that - seems someone submitted their ticket by editting the instructions page (which has renamed the page) rather than clicking the link. I'll set the instructions up here so that it can't be editted so easily.

Thought you should know, the link for Bug Report at the top of the page goes to create a new Wiki Page instead of an issue/ticket.

Thanks for the help. I'm going to use your formatting code and Zarius' section sign solution.
@ZariusT
Ahh perfect thank you! Going to test this out now but I have no doubt it will work :)

Yes, possibly even using "ANY" rather than "ANY_BLOCK" so that a rightclick on a mob also uses the milkbucket. Rightclick on air is not currently supported.

The first line should be what you're clicking on,I'll post an example later.
@Steelsouls
Makes perfect sense and easy for me to fix. In the meantime there is a special formatting code (OtherDrops just turns the & into this code) that you could type directly and it should work: ยง.

Yes, it needs to be done for both the drop and the tool, I'm not sure if it will help it recognize color codes or not BUT it will make it so people can't just use an anvil named item because it will check the format of the text and see the anvil item is using italic letters and not normal text.
Edit: Tested - does not make color codes work in lorename. It does do what you need though. These are both seen as two different tools when used.
