Orebfuscator
Orebfuscator - Anti X-RAY:
For all releases of 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x: Version 4.4.3
Now with support for CraftBukkit 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x!
This plugin is used to counter X-RAY Client mods.
It modifies data that are sent to clients to hide blocks of your choice, such as Ore, chests, dungeons, etc.
It does not manipulate blocks in the world file, thus is safe to use.
ProximityHider is a feature that hides chests that are far from players.
As of 4.3.3, Proximity Hider has been enhanced to use line-of-sight checks, not just proximity! Upgrade today.

Posted Feb 26, 2012Sure, proper solution for orebfuscator is to generate random 50,66,30 in groups as are real abandoned mines, this is just a workaround. As far as the clients are concerned, FPS is killed only by transparent blocks. This hack limits their distribution to as least as necessary. Other blocks are just filler and have no effect whatsoever.
PS: My CPU is P4 2.4ghz, gpu 8600gt, 30fps with this hax, 36fps w/o orebfuscator

Posted Feb 26, 2012Sorry for long post, but many people are asking this over and over:
For anyone asking about how to hide caves with mobspawners from cavefinders, there is one nice trick. Include *a lot* (80 seems to be good balance) of non-transparent blocks in randomblocks. Then append very few transparent blocks you really want want to obfuscate - 50,66,30.
Config: http://s.majncraft.cz/ofc.txt
BEWARE! This WILL still kill FPS of your players, by about 10-20%!
Results look like this: X-Ray:
Cavefinder:

First, update to the latest version of everything. Orebfuscator, NoLagg, SPout, and CraftBukkit.
It should work... If anything happens, try disabling either chunk sending in NoLagg or lighting fix in NoLagg.

Posted Feb 26, 2012Hey. It's me again from VengeanceCraft :D
Recently my server has been kicking out lots of errors, and crashing a ton. I check the console and it's mostly NoLagg and Oreb, I'm redownloading now, what should I do if it doesn't help? I LOVE the plugin and I never want to leave it!

Just this in the server logs:
BadgerLove lost connection: disconnect.endOfStream
And we are not using spout, Just after posting this I disabled your plugin and none of us has had the error.
Would it be worth clearing the cache?
Edit: Just after clicking this one of my guys gets the same error. I will restart the server with ofc disabled.

Two things:
1. Are you using spout
2. Is there any error message on the server side when a player gets Bad compressed data format

You're running a non-standard worldgen, which could cause much trouble.

Try disable the "Lighting fix" in NoLagg. The author suggests that it's the only place that interacts with world data and if the problem was caused by NoLagg, it should be from that feature (which apparently was somewhat broken).

I can confirm this. We call it the "stone glitch" on my server, and it has been a major annoyance. It only happens when both NoLagg and Orebfuscator are running. Beyond that, I haven't been able to reproduce it consistently. It just pops up at unfortunate times and makes it impossible to do any mining, as big blobs of stone are created. The stone goes away when you log out and back in, at least. But it will still usually regenerate if you start left clicking. (Or attempt to mine.) Luckily, not many players have discovered the duplication part of it. I suppose I'll disable NoLagg for now until its fixed to guard against duping.

Wait, sorry that's an outdated plugin list: AntiPortal, AutoMessage, BlockEnderDragon, ChatManager, ChestShop, CommandBook, Factions, HeadLamp, HeroBounty, Herobrine, iConomy, IWarnYou, Jail, LagMeter, Lockette, LogBlock, MagictTorches, mcbans, MCCasino, MCSL, MinecraftRKitPlugin, Minequery, MobArena, MobDisguise, MonsterBox, MultiInv, Multiverse-Core, Orebfuscator, Permissions(bridge for PEX), PermissionsEX, qQuests, SellSign, VanishNoPacket, Vault, Votifier, WorldEdit, WorldGuard, HomeSpawnPlus, HelperBot
I disabled NoLagg due to it using more resources than saving them.

As far as CPU is concerned, increasing max files won't do anything. It will just open more file handlers.
I wrote an optimization guide here: https://github.com/lishd/Orebfuscator/wiki/How-to-properly-configure-Orebfuscator
@Lolseeker
So NoLagg. Try disabling ChunkSending in NoLagg.
