Orebfuscator
Orebfuscator - Anti X-RAY:
For all releases of 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x: Version 4.4.3
Now with support for CraftBukkit 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x!
This plugin is used to counter X-RAY Client mods.
It modifies data that are sent to clients to hide blocks of your choice, such as Ore, chests, dungeons, etc.
It does not manipulate blocks in the world file, thus is safe to use.
ProximityHider is a feature that hides chests that are far from players.
As of 4.3.3, Proximity Hider has been enhanced to use line-of-sight checks, not just proximity! Upgrade today.

Yes, there's some complains about having proximity hider to protect chests, and is quite heavy weight. The spigot team agrees that it's heavy and decided to not include it. It also adds to some people complaining about how the protection is done as it impacts legit players visually a little.

I wrote the built in one, and I can tell you that it is good enough if you're not against a big bunch of hardcore hackers. It's efficient against amateur people who just go and download some xray mod, but not very effective if they write their own mods. Also, Spigot's built-in Orebfuscator does not have anti freecam/texture pack hacks, and cannot protect against chest-xray/esp, which allows someone to seek secret bases with a mod.

Posted Mar 31, 2013My server uses Spigot. There is a built-in obfuscation system in Spigot. Do you think your plugin is more efficient? I am wondering if I should use your plugin or the built-in system. Thanks!

You're low on memory. Your server's capacity is probably large compared to the memory allocated. Try decreasing view-distance in server.properties.

1.9.2 says: Game version: 1.5.1CB 1.4.7-R1.0CB 1.4.6-R0.3
Look for 1.8.9 which is for MC1.5
@cloud_strife_91spain
People should stop using MC1.5. they are in development status which means they are unstable and might fail. Everyone just update to latest CB and everything will be fine. Auto updater is made for people who are lazy and don't check for critical updates comes out before the plugin breaks.

Posted Mar 30, 2013Hi, i am a spanish user so sorry for my bad english.
Lishid, I say you one thing . PLEASE DISABLE UPDATE PLUGIN. By default the plugin update all time, so if you download the 1.8.9 , in the first start server the plugin update 1.9.2 and server crashed in the next starts
I see many users i have the same problem, this is a solution:
Install 1.8.9 (or other version) start server 1 time, go to the folder plugins and delete de folder with the name UPDATE, disable in config the check updates and start server normally.
Thanks ;)

Then you're risking other minerals that are exposed, like emerald and iron of being x-ray hacked. The method I'm using covers many materials being x-ray hacked, including spawners, mining shafts, etc. The compressed package is slightly larger, but the algorithm is optimized for compression too.

Posted Mar 29, 2013Wouldn't it be better to use diamond instead of random to replace ores on mode 2? It would use less CPU time and the compression would be better.

Hmm they should appear, unless if it bugged sometimes after teleportation. A server restart should temporarily fix the problem.
