Orebfuscator
Orebfuscator - Anti X-RAY:
For all releases of 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x: Version 4.4.3
Now with support for CraftBukkit 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x!
This plugin is used to counter X-RAY Client mods.
It modifies data that are sent to clients to hide blocks of your choice, such as Ore, chests, dungeons, etc.
It does not manipulate blocks in the world file, thus is safe to use.
ProximityHider is a feature that hides chests that are far from players.
As of 4.3.3, Proximity Hider has been enhanced to use line-of-sight checks, not just proximity! Upgrade today.

I'll have to see how well it can be implemented, though it's certainly a possibility.

Ok thanks!

I lolled XD

Performance wise, there's really no difference for the client. But if they have network lag, then Engine 2 is likely to have them see the ore for a split second.
EDIT: If they're x-ray hacking, then they lag to death with Engine 2. I consider this a feature :D
Otherwise, I recommend sticking with Engine 2 since it can prevent ore-xray 100% while Engine 1 is ineffective against ore-xray.

Oh I see, you were right sorry. How much performance difference is there between 1 and 2 you think ? Because 1 seems much lighter.
Edit: I mean that for the people who play on the server so not for the server itself.

It won't obfuscate ALL you mean.. From the photo, I only see a few chests.
Btw, Chests are not obfuscatable with the core engine. It can only be hidden by ProximityHider.
Do a comparison image between with default config and without at the exact same location in your world?

Thats not what I meant. What I meant was, it won't obfuscate anything with this config. What you could see on the photo were diamonds and chests just being xrayable...

Currently, no, since Orebfuscator core engine has to run for ProximityHider to hook into the packet data. Though for minimal impact you can choose EngineMode 1 with InitialRadius 1.

For now, disable cache. It seems like something from the piece of code I took from mBaxter is having trouble... I'm investigating.

Hmm ProximityHider will show the chest when the player comes around though.
@SpeedyBoy235
Well... you don't really know if a player has xray, which is why ProximityHider hides the chests and stuff until you're close to it.
@Nikecow
I'm not sure what I see in that image, but Engine Mode 1 will not obfuscate all ores because some ores are touching the air. If you want to obfuscate everything then either use Engine mode 2 or put InitialRadius to 0 (but not both).
@twisted067
Not if you're satisfied with the spigot built in, which doesn't offer you full protection.
@STORMINNORMAN800
That doesn't really help..

No you don't - unless you require some of the features Orebfuscator has that the Spigot Anti-Xray doesn't.

Posted Jan 26, 2013I think there is something wrong with the config. When I change certain options it won't obfuscate at all.I've had this multiple times now. Only way to get it working again is with the default config. No errors on startup though.

Edit: I cleared my cache then restarted btw

Posted Jan 26, 2013How would I be able to make it stop replacing chests and workbenches and such with stone when a person doesn't have xray? Or would we able to make it so that Orebfuscator only works only after a set depth?
Thanks.
