Orebfuscator
Orebfuscator - Anti X-RAY:
For all releases of 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x: Version 4.4.3
Now with support for CraftBukkit 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x!
This plugin is used to counter X-RAY Client mods.
It modifies data that are sent to clients to hide blocks of your choice, such as Ore, chests, dungeons, etc.
It does not manipulate blocks in the world file, thus is safe to use.
ProximityHider is a feature that hides chests that are far from players.
As of 4.3.3, Proximity Hider has been enhanced to use line-of-sight checks, not just proximity! Upgrade today.

So it's simply for better compatibility with other plugins - cool.
also, loving the performance with 1.7.9 - but thought that with proximity hider removed, I wouldn't be still seeing chests appear as ore blocks until clicked... is that normal?

Yes, Orebfuscator 1.7.9 fixes that problem. There's also an updated version of ProtocolLib that will automatically stop printing error messages after a certain point, in case this ever happens again.
There is a simple reason for installing ProtocolLib - to ensure that Orebfuscator other plugins (such as DisguiseCraft, SpoutPlugin, ect.) are compatible with each other. Certain plugins may require ProtocolLib, however.

Yes, orebfuscator works without ProtocolLib too.
then is it not required? I got massive console spam with 1.7.8 and ProtocolLib 1.8.0. Has this been fixed? If it's not required, is there any reason for also installing ProtocolLib?

Set EngineMode to 2 and you'd all done. If you use EngineMode 1, some ores gets left out, and are x-ray-able.

Posted Dec 13, 2012Iron ore doesn't seem to be obfuscated for me. I have tried both engine modes, and yes, I have it listed in the config. Here's a screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/hWXrI.png

It's waiting for approval here... The bukkitdev team is quite busy recently and is slow at approving plugins.

You gotta be kidding me... Bedrock fog has been in minecraft for a long time already...
It has nothing to do with this plugin. Read it here: http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Bedrock#Void_fog

Yes, orebfuscator works without ProtocolLib too.
@sw33td3vil
That was fixed since a few weeks ago. This would not have happened if you weren't using a super-old version of Orebfuscator.
