Orebfuscator
Orebfuscator - Anti X-RAY:
For all releases of 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x: Version 4.4.3
Now with support for CraftBukkit 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x!
This plugin is used to counter X-RAY Client mods.
It modifies data that are sent to clients to hide blocks of your choice, such as Ore, chests, dungeons, etc.
It does not manipulate blocks in the world file, thus is safe to use.
ProximityHider is a feature that hides chests that are far from players.
As of 4.3.3, Proximity Hider has been enhanced to use line-of-sight checks, not just proximity! Upgrade today.

Never got any reports with problems with permissions, but I'll check. What was wrong? Can you point out specifics in my code? Thanks.
@FatFreeSMP
I'll join your server to check.

Posted Jan 27, 2012I mentioned in my first post, after my first experience I used /ofc clearcache and still ran into several chunk problems. If you have any other ideas please let me know.

Posted Jan 27, 2012The plugin causes server deadlocks when using Permissions 3 (even when the permission config node was false). This was figured out when I did a jstack on our live server. I had to recompile it without permission checking code so that my server would stop crashing.
Please learn what is safe to call in an asynchronous thread and what is not. Specifically, everything outside of your own code is unsafe.

Yes
@FatFreeSMP
/ofc clearcache
@ryanwagner
Spout is not required, but is still compatible if you have it.
@EvilNilla
The plugin attempts to create the directory if it does not exist. Is that interfering with your symlinks? I'll see what I can do in a future version.
@FatFreeSMP
Don't bother, I think a clean cache should be used after an update, that should fix all your problems.

Posted Jan 27, 2012After more of the bugs I reported earlier (see below) I have decided to go back to test4/spoutbridge. I would advise all server owners to consider doing the same for now as I have had multiple chunk related bugs and some have been harder to fix than others.
Cant wait for next update! Thanks!

Posted Jan 27, 2012Okay, noticed another issue with this rapidly improving plugin.
We run our worlds off of RAMDrives. This means on our linux box most of the world directories are actually symlinks.
For whatever reason, on a restart your plugin destroys this symlink and creates a new directory in our server directory when the plugin loads.
Can you check why this is happening?

Posted Jan 27, 2012Is spout required now? I see that you merged the bridge into it, but I can't be sure if that means that spout is now required.

Posted Jan 27, 2012Hey lishid, just updated 1.3.2 and have noticed a small glitch. While flying around on the map, I came across 2 chunks of fake ores that jutted up well above the surface of the land or water. I have screenshots below, and have only had a few more glitched chunks reported. The fake ores are of course un-mineable, and upon relog the terrain is back to normal.
Screenshots of bugged chunks: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/842/orebchunk1.jpg/ http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/513/orebchunk2.jpg/
As always, keep up the great work!
Edit: This particular chunk in the screen shots remained persistant through logging off and on, it was still not dropping items, and was next to spawn.

Should probably add that to the description, so I dont get errors when I attempt to install it =X
So delete the old spoutbridge and just install the core jar?

Posted Jan 27, 2012When I put the plugin on all players are saying that ALL they see is ores, like the x-rayers should be seeing. So instead of them seeing stone all ores are showing up. Is this something i have to configure....?
