Orebfuscator
Orebfuscator - Anti X-RAY:
For all releases of 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x: Version 4.4.3
Now with support for CraftBukkit 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x!
This plugin is used to counter X-RAY Client mods.
It modifies data that are sent to clients to hide blocks of your choice, such as Ore, chests, dungeons, etc.
It does not manipulate blocks in the world file, thus is safe to use.
ProximityHider is a feature that hides chests that are far from players.
As of 4.3.3, Proximity Hider has been enhanced to use line-of-sight checks, not just proximity! Upgrade today.

Should we be using ProtocolLib also? Is it required with the new version for 1.4.4?

Hmm forgot about that indeed ... Maybe try sending a packet that only contains the signs inside it unobfuscated leaving all the rest off the chunk air
Or would that make the client freak out ...
(Probably would on lag)

You forgot the sign update packets that are sent when people change signs :P
@Puremin0rez
It does affect the general population:
Player A logs in or teleports, Player B change a sign or build a sign and sends the text. Player A receives the sign-change packet before receiving the chunk actually arrives. Player A gets the message.

I have a feeling they wont fix it until 1.5 though since it doesn't affect the majority of users unless you use this plugin obviously - hopefully a work around is found.

I know that :)
Hmm can't u catch the package that is going to be send and cancel it
Then resend it when your algorithm is done?
Not looking at chunks etc
Because the only sign update packages that will be send are those that you just obfuscated
Just catch all and delay them for lets say 2 ms and then resend it

Thanks.
@roelmb
I can't control from where the update packet is sent... I can prevent ALL packets of that sort from getting sent, and send my own copies after chunk is sent, though that involves keeping track of which chunks are sent and which not, and knowing where exactly the packets are sent from, etc.
@Spiritwo13
I fixed that in my code, will be up in the next update.

Removing ProtocolLib didn't fix the "unable to locate" messages, but it did remove the console error.

I don't have protocol lib installed for now and it does spam chat
Sending packet130UpdateSign after the World update packages might work
though it isn't that simple to change
