Orebfuscator
Orebfuscator - Anti X-RAY:
For all releases of 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x: Version 4.4.3
Now with support for CraftBukkit 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x!
This plugin is used to counter X-RAY Client mods.
It modifies data that are sent to clients to hide blocks of your choice, such as Ore, chests, dungeons, etc.
It does not manipulate blocks in the world file, thus is safe to use.
ProximityHider is a feature that hides chests that are far from players.
As of 4.3.3, Proximity Hider has been enhanced to use line-of-sight checks, not just proximity! Upgrade today.

Yeah, Engine 1 is only for if your server have problems with Engine 2. Try updating the library, if it doesn't work, you can use Orebfuscator without it If you don't have SpoutPlugin.

Increase AirGenChance by a dozen or so.

Posted Nov 12, 2012I'm pretty sure you're aware but if not, users can still x-ray when running in engine mode 1. Tested on latest bukkit dev build #2458. I'm running without protolib, because I seem to get a bunch of errors when using it. Is it really necessary?

That's true...
@spathizilla
Optional if you don't run Spout, required if you have spout as a plugin. It makes hooking into CraftBukkit safe and compatible with other plugins.

If optional, why is it better to use it?

i know 1 is less secure, but better than nothing.
2 eats much more CPU and our machine is old.

That only happens if the server starts lagging or if the players start hitting a lot of blocks without breaking any. If they only appear on specific locations like a wall vertical wall, then it's from the cache. Otherwise, it's from server lag.
@CatsyLady
Engine mode 1 is much less secure, as exposed ores are vulnerable to hacks.

Posted Nov 10, 2012On my server, I and other players are seeing obfuscated blocks.... When we hit them once, they go away, but its really annoying to see obfuscated blocks.
I am using the 1.4.2-R0.2 bukkit with API 1.4.2-R0.2 Config http://pastebin.com/5YM8BKeB

Question... If I disable a world; and users are in that world... orebfuscator wont obfuscate in that world; hence will use less cpu and performance will increase correct? (Reason im asking is because we have a nether with constant users in it - so Im thinking of disabling it in that world... Am I right in saying technically cpu usage will go down, or no?)

I'm planning to make the lite version into the full orebfuscator and add a lite option inside config so I don't have to merge code all the time... Still working out the coding details.

Posted Nov 8, 2012@lishid, is this build of orebfuscator stable enough to be ported to Orebfuscator Lite? Also, since cache is fixed will it be re-added to the lite version?

Just did some more testing; and it indeed does effect it :P Back to 7 processing tps at 12-15 at 175 online. 4 processing threads filling server back up again now... still 20 tps ...
Edit: okay filled it back up 175/175 ... still 20tps (before on 7 processing immedaitely after filling it would just hang at 12-15 right off the bat)
Weird indeed.
Ill just use 4 lol
