Orebfuscator
Orebfuscator - Anti X-RAY:
For all releases of 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x: Version 4.4.3
Now with support for CraftBukkit 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x!
This plugin is used to counter X-RAY Client mods.
It modifies data that are sent to clients to hide blocks of your choice, such as Ore, chests, dungeons, etc.
It does not manipulate blocks in the world file, thus is safe to use.
ProximityHider is a feature that hides chests that are far from players.
As of 4.3.3, Proximity Hider has been enhanced to use line-of-sight checks, not just proximity! Upgrade today.

There shouldn't be any TPS difference if you change threads... Threads are ran off the main thread, so it shouldn't affect the TPS of the main game thread.

Posted Nov 8, 2012Im curious why is it that I get better performance with 4 processing threads as opposed to using 7 (my cpu has 8) ?
And im talking MUCH better performance.. constant 20 tps compared to 12-15 tps... Does that make sense?

My RandomBlocks list does not have block 0. It's just the default list.

That's mostly due to network lag... Or you haven't yet upgraded to the latest version.
@drusz
Remove block 0 from RandomBlocks list.
@andrewkm
Nope, I build with Eclipse's built in thing.

Posted Nov 8, 2012I probably asked this before but do you have a jenkins / build server for this?

Tried clearcache to no avail. I ended up testing thoroughly on a local server. Seems like it always generates those air pockets when in engine mode 2 regardless of the AntiTexturePackAndFreecam setting. The setting is honoured by engine mode 1 correctly however.

Upgrade your server. It takes quite a bit of CPU usage with the default config. You could also set the engine mode to 1, and change some cpu intensive options.

Posted Nov 7, 2012I've never used Orebfuscator yet, however when I was trying to put it into my server, it was lagging my server terribly for the other users?
Anyone have any solutions or similar problems?

Yes, orebfuscator is multi-threaded, which brenefits of multi-core processors greatly. Also, world-holes is apparently a minecraft bug from 1.4.
@Puremin0rez
Thanks for informing me!
@Luxius96
Yes, there's an option in the config that is enabled by default, and should provide some texture-pack blocking.

Posted Nov 7, 2012Hi. I was wondering if Orebfuscator would cause chunks to load slowly causing lag holes when using the cache. Also would Orebfuscator do better in a multicore enviroment? Could it take advantage of having more than 1 core? for example a 4 core system?

This is a bug I'm suffering from too and it appears as if its a bug in MC 1.4.2 right now and it's already been fixed in the next MC version:

Posted Nov 6, 2012I am having problems with this Plugin. We have alway used it and it is a MUST.
Once Teleporting from world to world, We get chunks missing.. or even the whole world won't load.
After disableing this plugin, everything works perfect.
We are on "CraftBukkit version git-Bukkit-1.4.2-R0.2-1-g3d8a353-b2457jnks" with Orebfuscator 1.6.6.
There is no error in console. Can you figure out whats going on?\
Thanks.
