Orebfuscator
Orebfuscator - Anti X-RAY:
For all releases of 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x: Version 4.4.3
Now with support for CraftBukkit 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x!
This plugin is used to counter X-RAY Client mods.
It modifies data that are sent to clients to hide blocks of your choice, such as Ore, chests, dungeons, etc.
It does not manipulate blocks in the world file, thus is safe to use.
ProximityHider is a feature that hides chests that are far from players.
As of 4.3.3, Proximity Hider has been enhanced to use line-of-sight checks, not just proximity! Upgrade today.

Works pretty well for me, no ores at all on engine mode 1 and all fake ores on engine mode 2. (using version 1.3.1-test4-fix)
btw, you should try deleting your config and regenerate a new one if you installed it before (a loooong time ago) since your config might have obsolete stuff...
EDIT: Here, look http://imgur.com/a/9Iq78#0
@Puremin0rez
usually, just the default config is the best mix for resource saving and x-ray blocking. If your server really can't handle it (my dual-core 1.5GB server can handle 20 players no problem...), you can use engine mode 1.

Uhh that would hide all ore even if they're exposed. Also, it should be working (set InitialRadius to 0).

you need to /ofc reload to load the config. /reload will save the current config in memory to disk.

Posted Jan 18, 2012I'm not sure if this is a bug, but it has been a long term problem that I've had with Orebfuscator. I'm unable to run engine mode 2, unfortunately, because it causes extreme lag for players, generally making the game unplayable and sometimes disconnecting them. I'm really not sure why that is, but my theory was that it's similar to lag caused by large structures in Minecraft. I'm really not sure why that happens either, but my guess was that it was caused by the map differing significantly from the seed? It seems that other servers are able to run engine mode 2, so it's possible that I'm doing something wrong.
Because I'm unable to run engine mode 2 on my server, I use engine mode 1. The problem I'm having with engine mode 1 is that it still leaves a large number of ores exposed to x-ray clients. This seems to be primarily caused by caves with lava, and torches in dungeons. To combat this I tried to remove lava from the LightEmissionBlocks list, along with most other blocks, and only leave torches. However, even with only torches listed as a light emission block, lava is able to reveal ore to x-ray mods. Is this a glitch or is impossible to distinguish which block light comes from? To solve this, to some degree, I've resorted to obfuscating only rare ores with the InitialRadius set to 0. Thanks in advance, love the plugin.

My code is posted on github, if you're interested in looking.
The thing is, I really need both arrays. One of them is the original packet data, which I need to keep because part of the obfuscation process needs to check the original data instead of replaced data. The other one keeps track of the final (edited) data.
Also, since I added caching of chunks, it will save and load the data from disk.
