Orebfuscator
Orebfuscator - Anti X-RAY:
For all releases of 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x: Version 4.4.3
Now with support for CraftBukkit 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x!
This plugin is used to counter X-RAY Client mods.
It modifies data that are sent to clients to hide blocks of your choice, such as Ore, chests, dungeons, etc.
It does not manipulate blocks in the world file, thus is safe to use.
ProximityHider is a feature that hides chests that are far from players.
As of 4.3.3, Proximity Hider has been enhanced to use line-of-sight checks, not just proximity! Upgrade today.

Posted Aug 11, 2012I'm using Tekkit which is 1.2.5-R4. When I try 1.5.5-beta, I get a mass spam of [OFC] null messages in the console. When I try 1.5.4, users get disconnected frequently with "Bad compression data" or something similar. Is this a known issue, is there a fix?

No players are falling into the void ?
For those that don't really need void damage i made a quick fix plugin (Edit: No Void Damage), it will prevent the damage, teleport to highest block or spawn of the world, plus kick/remove player if offline (actually invalid). Does not make exceptions in the end though ..

I don't think it's caused by Orebfuscator, but just in case, update to 1.5.13.

What version are you on? There was something similar that was fixed since 1.5.10.

Actually it still requires it, but there's a jar package that patch craftbukkit.jar automatically

Maybe you saw the wrong plugin. There's another one (Ore to client obfuscation) that's quite outdated and it used to require class files in craftbukkit.jar

It used to soft-depend on Spout for not having to mod, but I could swear I dropped off a few .classes in my server.jar last time ;) Or maybe I'm dumb and modded Vanilla as well as dropping the plug into Bukkit, thinking back...

It was only in vanilla and not on bukkit (at least I haven't seen it happen on bukkit so far). So, I don't know if that info is of any help lol.

ouch... teleport not working... that's troublesome
@Thisguy128512
This plugin never needed any mod to the server itself, just drop and you're off~
There's a default config that works quite well against all kinds of x-ray.

This is what I tried from in-game and about how many times
/tp <me> <someone> 20+ times
/tp <someone> <me> 10+ times (they either got stuck with me or died. Same result with someone else doing it.)
/tp <me> <someone> (by someone else) 10+ times
/kill A LOT (just gave death message. did nothing)
/gamemode 0 10+ times (got disconnected for moving too fast)
/gamemode 1 10+ times (just fell into infinity. I think I actually have a screenshot of being at -300,000 or so from letting myself fall for a few hours)
/me <making a story of my imprisonment> :)
The only thing that fixed it was completely erasing my player data and making new data.

I can verify the vanilla bug with being trapped in the void. It actually happened to my character and the only way to fix it was the erase my player data.

Maybe wait for Bukkit and see if they fix it? I'm hearing lots of complaints about the CB RB not being fully tested/stable and have bugs.

No :) At least i didnt.
There has been someone on irc claiming there were ghost players with random numbers appened to their name (after they logged out), that was not related to Orebfuscator.
I have seen on a Vanilla server that people somehow got stuck in void unable to die, /kill or any tp. Tp to them seemed to work, though.
So i think it could imagine it to have to do with references and invalidation thingy but i am not into it
