Orebfuscator
Orebfuscator - Anti X-RAY:

This plugin is used to counter X-RAY Client mods.
It modifies data that are sent to clients to hide blocks of your choice, such as Ore, chests, dungeons, etc.
It does not manipulate blocks in the world file, thus is safe to use.
ProximityHider is a feature that hides chests that are far from players.
As of 4.3.3, Proximity Hider has been enhanced to use line-of-sight checks, not just proximity! Upgrade today.

DOWNLOAD
Please read compatibility information before downloading as not all releases work with all versions of CraftBukkit.
Latest version should be on BukkitDev, or as a release on the Github page: https://github.com/lishid/Orebfuscator/releases
Please also download ProtocolLib and install it in the plugins folder.
- Is compatible only with version 4.0.0 or newer.
- For 1.9.4 support, you must use build 277 or newer of Protocollib 4.0
- For 1.10 support, you must use build 293 or newer of Protocollib 4.0
- For 1.11 support, please use latest stable builds of ProtocolLib for 1.11.

Features
- Advanced algorithm that hides ore, chest and and anything you specify in the configuration
- Spout compatible, but optional

Usage
Install:
- Copy "orebfuscator-4.4.3.jar" to your plugins folder
- If you're upgrading from Orebfuscator.jar, move the contents of the "Orebfuscator3" folder to the "Orebfuscator4" folder
- Restart your server.

- This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that anonymous information of your OS and setup will be collected and sent to mcstats.org

Posted Aug 9, 2012I'm going to run without OFC for another 5 hours while I'm at work, just to be somewhat sure this is the issue. Hate to make you code in circles. Makes me feel like I'm buying a $10 hooker and hoping for the best right now, I'm scared bro :( If all goes well I will try your latest one when I get in.

this function > AntiTexturePackAndFreecam i think the cheater can still use x-ray (in cave mode) but it's more difficult to fine cave (only deep cave)
and some player on my server they use low spec computer that it's make a little more lag

I'm not sure what you mean... If you disable AntiTexturePackAndFreecam then you won't be protected against those. 1.5.8 should fix the lag/crash but also giving you protection.

Emergency fix, fixed client-side graphical lag caused by having too many air blocks.
This fix allows servers to re-enable AntiTexturePackAndFreecam without players with low-end computers suffering lag.

Hmmm does anyone know what happens when you're getting Read timeout?
I need to know how long does the connecting player waits until the error appears in console, until what message does it proceed to client-side, and possibly a server log of the read timeouts.

The AirGenMaxChance is basically 1 in how many does it generate an air block. (example: a value of 20 means there is 1 in 20 = 5% chance of generating an air block) The more this value is, the less air blocks are being generated and the less lag players will experience with the full protection of AntiTexturePackAndFreecam.

There are no other NullPointerExceptions in the log, only the Orebfuscator one a few minutes before the "Read Timed Out".

Posted Aug 9, 2012Sorry to say but I'm still having major issues with ofc. :( Its been causing Read timeouts every 4-6 hours when it's enabled. Not getting any console errors, but right before that happens the world will despawn, and everyone falls into the void. Any suggestions? Sorry to start your day like this..

Posted Aug 9, 2012One of my mod (with or without Orebfuscator.deobfuscate ) go Out of memory and in console EndofStream after 10-15 seconds he enters the server.. I've set to false the freecam and texture pack in order to reduce the packets sends to the client but nothing... In the previously version 1.5.4 all was ok..

Posted Aug 9, 2012I think I saw something on a previous post about a console error, but here's more info if you weren't already aware :)
This error printed to the console a bunch of times, which seemed to be caused by just playing. It continued to print with slightly different information, but it didn't actually affect the gameplay or server.

This next error spammed my console bad before crashing it, which was all caused by a simple World Edit command. The first severe error here spammed probably 100 times in a second, followed by the rest just once.

I'm still on 1.2.5 R5.0 and won't be switching over until Spout updates, so I hope that is not part of the problem. On the bright side, the problems I saw before seem fixed (unless the plugin isn't working, which is why I didn't see any random blocks haha). I do not see randomed blocks through multiple layers of glass and the chests in abandoned mines weren't still hidden when I found them (unless they were never hidden...). Posted Aug 8, 2012I'm sort of new on here but I've used CraftBukkit and played Minecraft for 2 years. Could you explain AirGeneratorMaxChance and OrebfuscatorPriority? I don't see them in the wiki about the config. I know 1.3.1 just came out and that you're probably pretty busy but could you explain them for me? Posted Aug 8, 2012The current version is using a ridiculous amount of cpu. I've lowered the number of threads it can use and lowered the view distance but nothing helps. Any suggestions for what I can do to fix this?
(Just for the record, I love this plugin. I don't want you to think I'm just complaining)

Well, the suffocation is just from when it first happened in the mid-RB time frame I think I lost some health from the tree type. Not sure if it actually causes damage.
