Orebfuscator - Anti X-RAY:

This plugin is used to counter X-RAY Client mods.
It modifies data that are sent to clients to hide blocks of your choice, such as Ore, chests, dungeons, etc.
It does not manipulate blocks in the world file, thus is safe to use.
ProximityHider is a feature that hides chests that are far from players.
As of 4.3.3, Proximity Hider has been enhanced to use line-of-sight checks, not just proximity! Upgrade today.

Please read compatibility information before downloading as not all releases work with all versions of CraftBukkit.
Latest version should be on BukkitDev, or as a release on the Github page: https://github.com/lishid/Orebfuscator/releases
Please also download ProtocolLib and install it in the plugins folder.
- Is compatible only with version 4.0.0 or newer.
- For 1.9.4 support, you must use build 277 or newer of Protocollib 4.0

Features
- Advanced algorithm that hides ore, chest and and anything you specify in the configuration

Usage
Install:
- Copy "orebfuscator-4.4.3.jar" to your plugins folder
- If you're upgrading from Orebfuscator.jar, move the contents of the "Orebfuscator3" folder to the "Orebfuscator4" folder
- Restart your server.

Posted May 22, 2012Version 1.4.5 is making a few of my signs invisible... untill they are interacted with... anyone know the solution? removing the plugin all signs work fine; however with it they all appear with absolutely nothing on them.... any ideas?

Posted May 21, 2012My server has a huge memory leak when I use this. After analyzing a heap dump with MAT, I get this: "The class "lishid.orebfuscator.proximityhider.ProximityHider", loaded by "org.bukkit.plugin.java.PluginClassLoader @ 0x762bab390", occupies 1,023,526,208 (50.35%) bytes. The memory is accumulated in one instance of "java.util.HashMap$Entry[]" loaded by "<system class loader>"." Any idea why this is happening? There have been no recent changes to my other plugins.

17:55:49 [SEVERE] Nag author: 'lishid' of 'Orebfuscator' about the following: This plugin is not properly shutting down its async tasks when it is being reloaded. This may cause conflicts with the newly loaded version of the plugin
but it says this like 15 times every time i reload, but not with /stop the start

Posted May 21, 2012I am ALWAYS getting false ores underneath fences, next to glass panes, etc, is this fixed by disabling the cache? I would test this, except the physical server for my test server is unreachable right now, and i don't want to test the higher CPU usage on the public server. Thanks :)

Posted May 20, 2012This request may seem a little strange , but is it possible for you to add a command that does what the /fullrender command does in dynmap, basically rendering all of the existing map and saving it into cache? This way we could get alot of the cpu intensive work done initally and only have to worry about the updated chunks later.

If you're talking about the lag in 1.4.6/1.4.7, there is really no fix for it, too much data to process for that experimental feature. Reverting to 1.4.5 should work.
If you're talking about the general lag, there is 1.4.8 coming out soon that should fix some minor lag issues, but if the lag is major, your best hope is to try changing the configuration (see Configuration guide in the description)

by people, you mean you tested yourself? Or did you see other people take diamonds massively?
If you are OP or has * permissions, you will not see the fake stuff. Disable NoObfuscationForOps: true NoObfuscationForPermission: true and you will be able to see the fake stuff.
Also, make sure you Restart your server and not just reloaded with the plugin.

Posted May 19, 2012I have had this plugin for a while on my server, the we removed it, bacause we wated people to xray (In hope to attract more people). But now we wanted to readd it, and it just doesn't work...
