Orebfuscator
Orebfuscator - Anti X-RAY:
For all releases of 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x: Version 4.4.3
Now with support for CraftBukkit 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x!
This plugin is used to counter X-RAY Client mods.
It modifies data that are sent to clients to hide blocks of your choice, such as Ore, chests, dungeons, etc.
It does not manipulate blocks in the world file, thus is safe to use.
ProximityHider is a feature that hides chests that are far from players.
As of 4.3.3, Proximity Hider has been enhanced to use line-of-sight checks, not just proximity! Upgrade today.

Posted May 6, 2012This plugin has always lagged my server :/ I'm have a 3.2 Ghz quad core processor, 16 GB RAM, and 100 mbps port switch. I gave this plugin 4 (out of 8) threads and it still lags like crazy. I have 60+ players, though. Is this not recommended for large servers or something? No matter what power I have, it always lags (either block lag or chunks won't load quick enough).

Posted May 6, 2012Hello,
After awhile with the latest version I am getting some lag for some reason which comes from this plugin. I am using engine 2, no cache, and all proximity hider options on at 8 blocks. It seems fine for awhile and then suddenly blows up. Using the latest CB beta so I don't know if that's the problem or not. I don't know if it helps but:

@lishid
okay thank you what is the best setting in this plugin that will prevent using up lots of ram and CPU?

It uses some CPU, usually enough for the server to handle, though you can test it out.
It only uses CPU when players join (for a few seconds), and depending on the server's capacity, setup, usually is not problematic.
Although in some rare cases, when the server has very poor CPU performance or a very high player count, it might be a little demanding.
What I suggest: test it out, if it doesn't lag the server, then you're totally ok.

What if a client steps into a cave? the people will seem to fall though invisible blocks. Also, when people mine on the wall and see a huge space behind the wall, they'll freak out.

Posted May 5, 2012Can you add so that it is air every where under them instead of a lots of ores. This way you are hiding the ores so that they lock like air and you can't see secret rooms with a x-ray texture pack sins the client will not see where the cave starts and where it ends since it only sees air =) This could be a config option or a command or some thing like that =)
