Orebfuscator
Orebfuscator - Anti X-RAY:
For all releases of 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x: Version 4.4.3
Now with support for CraftBukkit 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x!
This plugin is used to counter X-RAY Client mods.
It modifies data that are sent to clients to hide blocks of your choice, such as Ore, chests, dungeons, etc.
It does not manipulate blocks in the world file, thus is safe to use.
ProximityHider is a feature that hides chests that are far from players.
As of 4.3.3, Proximity Hider has been enhanced to use line-of-sight checks, not just proximity! Upgrade today.

No those who have said it are admins and moderators, and some of them are regular players. Once they logout and come back in again the ores have disappeared.
Any idea?
(and they don't have xray)

I added them, i asked bergerkiller which one, I added the chunks and gave him your reply, he said you ment that one ;) So that should be fine now.
What do you want from me now? The log? Anything else? I really want this bug fixed. Thanks.

Either they're hacking and want to manipulate you to remove the plugin so they can hack or, if it's not the case and you're 100% sure it's not the case, try /ofc disable cache

There's a few packages, but I don't think you need them all.

@Davyhalliday
Orebfuscator does not interact with the nether. In fact, Orebfuscator is fully disabled in the nether and the End.

Actually, could you get NoLagg (I need the cross-thread checking features) just to test out if my code accesses chunk loading?
If it does, you should see an IllegalAccessException in your console.

Hmmm ok. I'll investigate again later today. might just find another spot that I'm accessing blocks without checking for chunk being loaded.

1. You want to show valuables that are exposed to players.
2. They are 2 different things. Engine is basically the ore anti-xray component, and hides valuables based on their surrounding. ProximityHider hides blocks such as chest and furnace until a player walks close enough to it. DarknessObfuscate is for hiding blocks that are in complete darkness but still exposed, such as mob spawners.
How many players and what's the capacity of the server?
You could try the temporary 1.4.4 to see if it fixes your crash. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/18947504/Orebfuscator.jar

Posted Apr 20, 2012I am using this for the first time, and with it MineCraft is using 100% of my CPU and crashing the server when usually on uses about 10%. I am wondering if I happened to start using this when a new problem developed?
It's the reason I started looking into the settings, which led to the post below.

Posted Apr 20, 2012Greetings,
I have read the wiki and there are a lot of things I do do not understand.
1 - It says "Initial Radius is the radius to search for transparent blocks when the initial chunks are sent." I don't understand. Why is the plugin searching for blocks that are transparent. Ii is supposed to hide valuable blocks, and they are not transparent. Aren't the only transparent blocks air?
2 - Are the Engine and the ProximityHider two different things? If the ProximityHider hides blocks until the player is within a ceratin arange, what is the point of the Engine? Why can you turn of the proximity hider and not the Engine? Alos, what is the point of hiding blocks in the dark if they are already hidden by the ProximityFinder or the Engine?
I do not understand.
Please, explain how this works better and what the settings in config mean.
Thanks

try disabling block damage update. What's the distance you set for ProximityHider? (Also the player might be having network lags him/herself)

It's lagging the block update rate. What's the best configuration for Orebfuscator with still working but not using much memory? But anyways the proximity is broken.

Hmm it's not supposed to lag the server itself, maybe the chunk load rate or block update rate. If it's impacting the server itself then you have a big problem with server capacity. What's your capacity, plugin list and configuration for Orebfuscator?

Posted Apr 20, 2012I've tried turning off the proximity thing and put it to engine mode 1, didn't help the lag.. Going to uninstall this until I can figure out how to make it work but not lag.

Posted Apr 20, 2012People are having to walk right in front of their chests to see them instead of 8 blocks away.. It seems to be lagging my server a bit and it's a very good server. Any tips on how to make it lag less but still work?
